You don’t need an HVAC Pro, you need a handyman at best.

As stated above, youtube is your friend, and if you can't/ won't, a handyman will do.
Kalifornia doesn't get Arizona hot, but if you could find a HVAC person to do such a small job, they are going to charge you out the ass.
This I am sure is their "hot" season, forgive the pun, but no reason they should do a dryer vent when they could be servicing A/C units that are out....... and I am pretty certain they need to prioritize those.

Thanks for the feed back I was thinking the same, I just thought this sort of thing falls into the HVAC umbrella. Looks fairly easy on youtube so might go the DIY route.
