That's nice very and Tranquil indeed since the Bay is a broad inlet of the sea where the land curves inwards whereas the beach is a landform along the coast of a waterbody. Both are soothing for the soul.

If you observe any gulls flying out over the water, you may think they are sea gulls. But they aren’t. They are bay gulls.

I took this picture on my San Francisco visit. It took me a while to find it. I walked about 1/4 mile on the Golden Gate Bridge, Visited Alcatraz Island, pier 39, discovered Dim sum in China town and rode a cable car. Stayed in the city of Novato and rode the ferrari across the bay everyday, a big thanksto the lady I met on the ferrari who told me to try Dim sum. Never got to Lombard street but I rode my motorcycle down Lombard street back about 1978.
It was a beautiful drive up the coast but not much to see coming back on the I-5.

If San Francisco is the city that the most people want to live in, why are so many people moving out?
