How so, when vaccinated people are contracting COVID in huge numbers and continuing to spread it around, over and over again?

But clearly society's goal is herd immunity. And the current vaccine is obviously not working to that end.

I know dozens of Conservatives (family, friends, and business acquaintances) and essentially all of them are fully vaccinated.
