If people are too desperate, shit happens. No immigrant will trust our immigration bureaucracy. Its red tape after red tape with zero to no explanations.
Our Afghan military translators who were promised a visa or green card and most of them never even came close to one because of "paper work that lasted years". That tells you everything about our system. Its empty promises unless you got something special to offer.
Those EB-5, EB-1c got in quick. So are L-1 and big corporate H1-B. Lightning fast. The former got millions, the second got special skills, and the latest got big corp money.
What does that tell you? The poor, desperate, and/or muslim, commies, not welcomed. That is why.

I'm not justifying the actions of the illegals. If it were up to me, shoot them at the fence if you have to keep them out if we don't think they are worthy of a human being living in the US. Why act like we care about human rights if we deny their rights to survive knowing their own nation is shit and can't provide their own people a chance to survive?
Just don't pretend that we have an effective or fair immigration policy. And don't pretend that we are the land of the free because it aint' free.
If all the white folks get to come in from Europe for free, why can't the Mexicans? They used to live in the United States and owned part of the land here. We took it from them by force. And then we erect a border to keep them out because we said so.
But the Italians, Irish, Anglo-saxons, Germans... welcome home. The Chinese, well, to be slave laborers at the rail lines, and they can't legally marry or have residency and dig a hole in the ground when we are done with them. The Japanese, don't trust them enough so they get in concentration camps. The Blacks, well, they are always "slaves" to somebody at some levels. They better sign, jump, and dance well enough for the crowd or they are just another N*****. Latinos, you get to wash dishes, pick apples, and sell oranges on the street. Those poor whites, well, they get to rally behind a fucking psychopath as a President and get him to pretend to care for those fucks. Was there any policies that Trump did that had benefitted those poor whites? I don't see any. In fact, it had the opposite effects and created inflation on all consumer pricings.
A pandemic happens, fuck the Asian Americans, your lives don't matter even if you are those so called model minorities. Influenza A and B happened every year killing 6-10k American each year, but its just another flu. Get your flu shots and you are A ok. But fuck the vaccines for Covid, those are lies and this shit don't work because some said so.

For the asylum seekers stay in Mexico.
On Jan 19th this year the flow at the border was at a 20 year low. Since then it has peaked.... in only 7 months.
The problem is this administration's fascination with bringing anybody with a pulse into this country under the promise of free benefits, education, and path to citizenship even though they will be a burden on society.
It's a non sustainable liberal pipedream. It will break this nation.

80 MILLION people per year are added to the 3 Billion of impoverished.

Don’t we have hundreds of jobs that need to be filled?
Communities raved by disease and natural catastrophe that need ready willing and able people who have survived hardship and who can appreciate opportunity?

Our policies are in big part of the reason those from Haiti are fleeing to the US. US backed coups disrupted their lives. Grinding poverty for many. I suspect iwe would do the same if in their shoes.
Then wanting to force them back into a dangerous country and situation. US Border agents are treating the Haitians like cattle, riding after them on horseback etc. Disgusting

If it is good pay, jobs they want then why not simply create a Work Visa Program with no path to residency or citizenship. Renew it every 3 years if you have no criminal record or not been on the gov't. dole. You get to send money back to your family in your home country and be in a safer place.
That's when you find out what the open borders group really wants. Official U.S. immigration policy is strict and not easy, which should also be acknowledged. Took me 5 different visa statuses before I became a citizen, but not once did I feel it was owed to me. If I was denied citizenship then I would have sucked it up and left.
For those who decry the U.S. immigration policy, list the names of countries that have a more generous system or even come close to the diversity as the U.S.
