Every country has different rules. Australia has had tougher pandemic regulations than other countries, with better results in slowing down infection. And some people ignored the rules.

If you would realize that Australia has a fraction of the Covid cases and deaths, you'd understand that a mask mandate works very well. Sure, they take it seriously, but there's a lot we didn't see before the arrest.
That anyone can equate rules about masks with guns and communism and taking away all freedoms, well, that is the mind of an idiot, and a follower of propaganda.
People should quit watching the FOX propaganda channel and open their eyes and their minds.

Not hating and agree that you should be vaccinated, wear a mask, etc. but it is unlikely that you know which variant of Covid your friends had. Unless you were curious and paid to have the sequencing done. Hospital's don't do it. They submit samples to the CDC - they generate stats at a macro level and they are spending a shit load of money doing it - but they don't give individuals the results.

It is a BIG deal to wear a mask.
Why???
1. THEY DO NOT WORK on a VIRUS.
2. Surgical masks are made for BACTERIA. Which is 1,000 times larger than a Virus.
3. N95 mask only works 25-50% of the time....and are SINGLE USE. Once you TOUCH it it is contaminated.
4. Only thing that does work is Military masks.
5. Cloth masking is even WORSE than surgical mask.
5. Repeat and re read them again.
