Sen. Cory Booker (D-NJ) was pushing the same thing on NBC’s “Meet The Press” with Chuck Todd today. He claimed, “This one is a zero bill. We’re paying for the whole thing. But yet, we’re ca– we’re using different math to make it sound bigger and more ornery.”
Now, House Speaker Nancy Pelosi (D-CA) wouldn’t go quite that far. Such a bald-faced lie was apparently too much, even for her, which is saying something. She doesn’t even want us to talk about “numbers” and “dollars” — because if we did, we’d probably run screaming for the door on this bill, if we had a lick of sense.
On “This Week,” she said she just wants you to remember it’s about “values.”

I haven't met a Democrat that has a single ounce of math or economic sense.
They spend the money and HOPE the tax changes will generate the needed revenue...but I won't, I can guarantee it. There will be MORE money going out than coming in....

Ronald Reagan said his tax cuts would help businesses make so much money, the government would actually collect ** more taxes **. Of course, it did not work out that way at all.
So please do not act like only Democrats pass changes and then hope for the best.

You mean that one time at Congress camp where they sent through a 1.2T Omnibus bill filled with pork from all over the country instead of doing a normal budget??
Further, Civics 101: the Executive proposes a budget. The Legislature holds the purse strings and actually passes whatever they want.
(note: Fn Congress has not passed a budget in 20 years, only 'appropriation' bills)
