If you think right wing media's focus on border security, upholding rule of law, and expecting the administration and military to be held accountable for the Afghanistan debacle is "right ring brainwashing"...
...You my friend are the problem.
|
|
it is brainwashing on Israel (we gain nothing giving so much money to them), Cuba (zero threat to USA), free markets (reason why manufacturing went to China), thinking "democracy/voting" works, etc
|
|
every media has brainwashing elements, the main point is not all their ideas are right and that there shouldn't just be two sides
|
|
Trump is still saying he won Arizona, but CNN says otherwise... who am I to believe... hmmm.

I don’t know, but it just tells me voting on this large scale is inefficient

While I agree with your premise
In fact, it's a given that these outlets MUST cater to their base or go out of business
Your examples above are very poor choices.
In reverse order:
Name 1 other country that's lasted 250 years (almost) with the same Form of Government, governments being a method to allow the coexistence of a wide range of opinions. Not to mention that ours has the broadest representation of people's, and their fucking opinions, on the planet.
Manufacturing did not all go to China and the "freedom" of capital and labor to move around the globe makes the world richer as a whole, although some segments do better than others as "creative destruction" works its invisible magic (think modern cell phones replacing your landline, TV, radio, encyclopedia, etc etc). The fact that China exercises a perverse form of mercantilism makes this no less true. Obviously, Americans who shop at Wal-Mart want low prices, not "Made in America". I'm not even gonna explain the value-add manufacturing we do here. The economic theory of "comparative advantage" has been around since 1817, so I recommend doing some reading before sharing ill-informed opinions.
Cuba, I was alive when nukes were positioned in Cuba. Physical threat now? In a word, no.
Cubans living in Florida are more a threat to politicians than Cuba is to us, lol. But, Obama's opening to Cuba accomplished nothing but to put more money in the Castro brothers hands. It had almost no positive impact on average Cubans. Until the Cuban form of government changes, no amount of opening or closing will help.
Lastly, Israel. The ONLY existing democracy in the Middle East. A pretty consistent ally since they became a country. Something you can't say for ANY other country around them parts. We should send them less money? Maybe, maybe not. Can't say I have an answer on that. However, there is much we gain from the relationship for sure. Whether it's worth the money is above my pay grade.

Sure they must cater to their bases, like teases on limiting abortion
|

Depends on your version of Democratic I guess, I’d hardly say the colonial powers were really democratic to their colonies

It shifted towards China, USA is still one of top countries manufacturing, but it greatly shifted. It’s going to continue to shift because USA is ruled by corporate donors. Conservative media highlights this as a problem, but never addresses this as the primary issue. Without solving this issue, housing, education, other inflation will continue to rise until the bubble bursts.

Iraq, Tunisia, Turkey, Morocco, Jordan, Kuwait, Lebanon on the top of my head. Lol I love how the media here tries to paint as if these countries are “more flawed democracies”. Just ridiculous. Anyway I don’t know many decades or centuries we will continue to carry Israel.

I am a conservative and don't trust Fox News for shit.
The Murdoch boys are running the show now, and those to socialites are a couple of pole smokers longing for acceptance into the NYC beautiful people scene.

Trump is still saying he won Arizona, but CNN says otherwise... who am I to believe... hmmm.
Well the report shows there are 55,000 votes that are highly questionable which is 5 times more than what won the election for Biden.
Soooooo
At this point in time....it "seems" like again Trump is right.
And to say that both sides do it is pure intellectual dishonesty.
Or projecting.....
By n large THIS is correct.....
If you think right wing media's focus on border security, upholding rule of law, and expecting the administration and military to be held accountable for the Afghanistan debacle is "right ring brainwashing"...
Then yes....you are the problem. Sadly.
If you care about the RULE OF LAW.....Biden's....plural....would be in jail.
Just as I would say Trump or his sons did the same as Hunter.
Now can YOU say that YOU agree with that?
Come on....can you.
B/c if you say yes then we have common ground.
If you can NOT then you my friend are a partisan and not interested in the rule of law and the truth.
Soooooo what is it?

^^He's a "cyber ninja"^^

i am TIRED of people saying..."well the other side does it...."
Sounds so immature...does it not.
You as an adult need to move past that and say there are Rules...no...LAWS that need to be followed and when broken....PUNISHMENT.
Can we NOT at least agree to that?
|
|
^^^^^^^^
So then you believe we should have a 2 or multi tier justice system?
How would that work exactly....serious question.
