The bar at the top of the Bonaventure...it rotates every 45 minutes...you see the entire LA skyline...

Thanks to this blog which at first I was uneasy about posting,
I was able to meet with a new friend at a very nice bar downtown.
P.s I love the bar atop the bonaventure, definitely a must go to! 🙋🏽♀️

Not sure if it is still hip but the Standard on 6th used to draw a nice crowd at the bar.

What happened ninja? Did u have a meetup scheduled and last minute your friend cancelled or did your friend suggest going out but never followed thru?

Biltmore hotel was also last hotel The Black Dahlia was seen it in 1947...it does have some interesting history forcsure. Maybe even back in 1947 Elizabeth short heard it was a good place to meet new friends. Unfortunately for her it was the time she ever saw a hotel bar again.

I’ve never stood up anyone from here but I’ve been stood up several times. No explanation ever given…

It was more like we had something set up at 9 and at 7:51 he canceled, it was still enough time. I’m not complaining but I was getting dolled up because I like to have an like 45min to drive to my destination and find parking and be early. So I came in here to see what were some fun places run DTLA TO GO TO. 🤷🏽♀️
I’ve heard the Dahlia story but didn’t end up going to that hotel.
I’d like to go now, not alone of course! 😅
