This just gives evidence that a booster dose is necessary after 6 months. It's been shown that a booster dose after 6 months pushes immunity back up to 95% effectiveness. And that's with Delta, which has been shown to lower vaccine efficacy.
A third booster dose shows stronger humoral immunity than the first two, so it's very likely effectiveness remains higher for a longer period of time.
Meanwhile, natural immunity is thought to wane as well, from 3 months to 5.1 years, with a mean value of 16 months. (see link), and there is a lot more health risk going this route.
Millions upon millions of people take blood pressure medicine, diabetic medication, depressants, etc... DAILY, so taking two shots a year -- one more than the flu shot -- is NO BIG DEAL.
These are first generation vaccines. With improved vaccines, people may only need to take shots once a year or more.
By the way, Sweden has a higher vaccine rate (~70%) than Lithuania (~60%) and even Israel, (see ourworldindata.org), so your analysis that Sweden is somehow doing well despite other countries having more interventions is a lie.

The study mentioned by the OP actually has a serious flaw.
They excluded people from the study who had a confirmed symptomatic infection, but they would have included those who had an asymptomatic infection. Thus, it is very possible that a significant number of people in the unvaccinated cohort may have had natural immunity/protection against COVID-19. This clearly would artificially lower the results of the efficacy values for the vaccine.
I'm not arguing with the results qualitatively, but the unusually high effect of waning could have been exaggerated in this study.

Yeah it does, unless you want to go the route of natural immunity which would kill a lot more people and increase long COVID cases, and natural immunity against infections isn't permanent either (see source in my comment above).

What has worked for the Swedes? Sweden effectively had a similar response in terms of interventions against COVID as its neighbors (see pic below), and is highly vaccinated (close to 70%, which is significantly more than the US, see ourworldindata.org). Still, there is no hard data to claim Sweden is at herd immunity because we have seen waves end only to begin again later.

First of all, the survival rate is 99.6%, or an infection fatality rate of 0.4%, which I might add, is comparable to something like the measles, which, unless you are an anti-vaxxer, is something we have no problem immunizing against (Google it). Secondly, we get flu shot annually. Every six months is only an issue if you want to make it one. Again, millions of people take medicines DAILY, Finally, these are first-generation vaccines, and the technology will likely get better, with the time interval between boosters likely to increase significantly.

The vaccinated know that the vaccines are not perfect. One shot doesn’t last forever. Boosters are necessary to keep antibody levels high to stay protected. Boosters are a small price to pay for protection.
We know that the vaccinated can still catch Covid (but not suffer much from it, unlike the unvaccinated) and the vaccinated can pass it on to the unvaccinated who can potentially die from Covid. Sorry, that’s your problem for not protecting yourself.
The vaccines are the best defense we’ve got.
If you get hurt by Covid by not protecting yourselves, that’s your problem. Now shut the fuck up.

Covid has a similar infection fatality rate as the measles. Google it.
As for the vaccine, it seems like the government is much more stringent about reporting any side effect for a vaccine under an emergency use authorization, hence the large number of reports. And again, association ain’t causation.
