You continuously post garbage and you misinterpret the legitimate sources (or twist the information) to fit the extreme right narrative.
In a site like this, you’d want to err on the side of safety, not being irresponsible. You clearly don’t understand that.
When you don’t post, we can interact with people in the blogs on a more social level, which may lead to men and women coming together. When you post, the apparent goal is to incite hate and anger.
You have no interest in the whole purpose of this community at all.
Do you see people on the left posting constant daily blogs touting the left’s positions? You obviously don’t. This isn’t the forum for your political views.
As for extra2, I don’t necessarily think that he should silence Waterdisport the way he has (although I understand why), the site’s moderators should restrict political discussion to a political blog.
Let’s try to avoid alienating the women on this site by having needless, angry political discussions that take away the focus from them.

Your use of data from respectable sources comes from their use of these sources. I know this to be true because you never successfully challenge me on the science. These aren’t your own ideas.

@PSHorneycouple. I respect you because even though you may have a bias (everyone does), at least it seems to me you are trying to find answers. You have no agenda unlike Waterdisport.
What bothers me is that there are many people working really hard to try to solve this pandemic problem, and then there are people who aren't invested giving the most one-sided criticism to what's going on. It bothers me in terms of the misrepresentation of scientific data but also personally because I know of people working hard to solve this problem.
If people like Wadterdisport weren't so one-sided, I wouldn't feel like I have to balance him out with the facts and ideas he's not presenting. So I end up being one-sided too.
For example, his analysis of this new Swedish vaccine effectiveness paper comes straight out of right-wing twitter. I see it myself. The truth is there's some grey here. Yes, this is the first report of vaccine efficacy against serious disease past six months, and the results aren't very good, in particular for the elderly and people with preexisting conditions past 6 months on the vaccine. But there are potential confounders, and the results up to 6 months are still pretty good, so potentially boosters every 6 months could solve this problem. This would be a balanced reading of the paper.
If we were having discussion where everyone could see more than one side, I'd admit to some of the negatives like "we need better vaccines that give mucosal immunity in order to seriously cut down on infection and transmission." But this is not what's happening. So the discussion is very poor, and gets me riled up.

NR, You're correct, everyone does have a bias.
H2O's not posting anything that's not out there to be read. Only problem is everyone is not willing to see from a different perspective. Or dare to read articles that are deamed to be from "right-wing conspiracy" sites. Can you read any site that does not have an agenda? Take a moment before answering that for yourself. Most every study was directed or paid for by someone.
I can't speak for H2O, but I don't see his posts for anything more than providing me with info to make a better informed decision. Without seeing both sides aren't we all fooling ourselves that "our truth" is the truth?

I think the problem is you are putting everything on the same level. Infowars vs CNN vs opinion from scientific journals, and I don't see it as such. There simply are sources that are reliable enough and sources that aren't. Waterdisport clearly gets his info from sources that aren't. I know because I check them out myself.

Would you agree that a fact is a fact, regardless of the source?
Has anyone asked H2O if his intent is to prove the jab does not work at any level? Or maybe that it's not at the level our government has pushed it? And willing to destroy peoples live simply for their refusals?
I highly doubt anyone can honestly say the jab is 100 percent ineffective. It has and will save many lives. As I say that, I truly believe it is NOT the be all, end all to COVID. When the world needs a non political solution, our current admin is bulldozing forward with no regard to anyone except those who give in to their demands.
