The media turned this virus into a political issue to help Biden win the White House. The political divisions about a virus continue to widen and there are plenty of morons on both sides. Unless he was taking those pictures with the same people for fifteen minutes it wasn’t considered a close contact exposure. Florida has made choices and so has California. Both of them have made mistakes, but one state treated its citizens like prisoners and now they treat citizens that choose to not have a medical procedure as criminals. The other state chose to not take the freedoms of its citizens. We will not really know which way was the best choice for years, but you cannot hide from the virus and it will never be eradicated. If you believe you can hide and that it will eventually go away, you should have taken more science during your education because you are ignorant to reality.

sherkahn and others on the left seem to gloat when people get Covid-19. Not sure how that helps anyone other than spewing more political bullshit about Florida, Conservatives, etc. who are 'stupid' because they don't wear a mask, don't get a vaccine, don't do this, don't do that.
We are free people and ought to make our own choices. I chose to be vaccinated and just got my booster a few days ago. That is MY decision, not the decision of a senile old man in Washington or a narcissistic idiot in Sacramento.

Let me address a couple of things...
I believe instead of ivermectin, Florida offers the $1500 monoclonal antibody treatment for "free." But why not just get the vaccine which costs much less and avoid a much more risky path, besides being time consuming and costly? And the likely risk of infecting others, as an unvaccinated person, you're basically being a Covid Mary.
And the thing is with the Delta variant, which is dominant in the U.S. and elsewhere, is there's a good enough chance that you could be contagious that it still makes testing important.
If you're vaccinated and have a breakthrough infection, and you test positive, you probably won't die, but you may be contagious. Unless you're Colin Powell and you have severe underlying conditions, did not yet have is booster, so in which case he did die.
I'm not sure why it's so hard to understand that.
By taking safety measure, the vaccine, you protect yourself and others. Being a good human is more than just about YOU.

Not sure what OP's point is. Bon Jovi is fully vaccinated, asymptomatic and feeling fine. Tested positive on a rapid response test before a concert performance in Florida. So how do we get Florida sucks out of this?

I'm all for positivity but that's pushing it.
I got vaxx'd back in Spring but based on I'm in good health for my age and vaccine efficacy is questionable I'm not running out for a booster shot unless my employer gets stupid on us.

California has really f'd up the testing!! I have been testing every week with the local county health department for over a year, I always came up Negative (I have both vaccines).
A little over a month ago the State of California took over the free testing in our area. So even though I am safe and stay within my "bubble" of friends and family, last Monday I tested "Positive"!! I felt fine with none of the 10 main symptoms for Covid. I check my blood/oxygen level every day and it was always between 95-98% and my temperature was around 97.5 degrees every day. I called around and all they said was quarantine for 10 days and not to get retested! Funny in every other major diagnosis, they always recommend getting a second opinion! So I said screw them, I knew it had to be false so I scheduled another test 2 days later in a neighboring county (they still use the same lab in Valencia). So I took the retest and it came back "Negative"!! I wouldn't put it past the state to mess with the tests to meet their agenda and scare everyone into getting the vax!!
