Any restaurant, not necessarily fast food.

Red Robin is good. Steak fries.
Original Tommy's has GOOD fries. Even better when you put chili and cheese on them.
The Hat has good fries, with chili, cheese, and Pastrami.
The Habit is better than In-N-Out.
In-N-Out, when lightly fried, is better than McDonald's.

Me!
Not in-n-out, barely edible
Haven't had them in years but if I needed a fry
Mickey D's
Belgian fry's are actually better and they don't run from a fight the way those frogs do
It depends on the person, not everyone has the same tastes.
for me, 5 guys
In and out fries are barely edible fresh and hot....2 minutes later and they aren't edible at all. Shame cus their burgers ROCK!

Islands (various locations). Their Truffle Fries, are Outstanding.
You can also order them To Go.

"Thanks eaters"
"Eaters" are my favorite

"potato latkes"
From one Jew to another.
Hannukah starts on Nov. 29th.
I think Katella's are ok. I ask for them extra crispy.
My Grandma's were much, much better.
Apple sauce and sour cream a must!
Walmart: I buy the stake fries, sprinkle them with garlic powder and cook them until they are crispy in my air fryer.
I also choose Night-Rider's Grandma's latkes.
best fries ? Mama's on 39 ; any of the locations. and Killer breakfasts too
Some great suggestions, people!
Latkes crept in but I shall allow because of my special fondness for members of the Tribe and how they handle my money laundering.

The belgian double dipped fries at Wurstkuche
(the name is a little off putting but trust me the food is TDF!)
"Wurstkuche" sounds like a not-too-raving commentary on a female, but I bet it's bomb for fries!
Thanks TC, that actually looks great, especially the patio seating.

I'm a size 12, I know what's up with the eats
For fast food, always thought Rally’s had the best fries hands down.
I'm a size 40 Extra Fluffy, so yes, me too!
See, I can't really fuck with fast food too much. But if I did, I would be at In N Out. Or Tommy's.
An In n Out burger isn't too unhealthy. Under 400 calories, nice mix of food groups. I like the freshness. Not a fan of their fries though. Not a fan of big goopy grease-dripping burgers either.
We don't have In N Out in the midwest so I almost always pay them a visit when I return to CA
Bagel in the morning, In n Out in the afternoon. Got you covered.
Also, I must admit, I'm still giggling a bit at WurstKuche.
Did you guys have a good time on your date?
Yes, she was sweet, kind, funny, considerate, but damn, she had the WurstKuche.
<-- so fucking childish.
Giggity!

Miss Taylor,
In-N-Out is in Colorado now.
They plan to expand by adding a few restaurants slowly.
McDonald's
Wurstkuche in the artsy-fartsy district east of Little Tokyo/DTLA has the best pommes frites and a great selection of German and Belgian beer. They also have a huge selection of fresh sausages w/o nitrates/nitrites and the usual preservatives...

brussels bistro in Laguna Beach and San Clemente.

If you find a real Belgium place -they will have great french fries.
there used to be a place in Palm Springs.
Belgians have mayo with their fries.
Personally I like mayo with my fries, sometimes mix with mustard.
I try to avoid fast food fries but I will eat In-n-out fries if they just came out of the fryer.
Chick filet have good waffle fries - and great condiments for dipping.
same goes for Rasin Cane.

Small skinny fries that are overcooked, turn out like potato sticks.
If undercooked a little, soft enough to pass as fries. 1/8" fries? Too thin.
Fries should be cooked, firm on the outside, not crispy or crunchy, and fluffy texture inside. Meaty fries. 3/16" or 1/4" fries? Good.
1/2" steak fries? I like. There should be potato taste when sauced with either ketchup, mayonnaise (Canada), or chili.

The Back Abby in Claremont has my favorite.
“Pommes Frites. Fresh Kennebec potatoes double fried in duck fat, served with a side of horseradish chive sauce, remoulade and ketchup.”
Great beers as well.
Nick.

The food and the outdoor setting looked so good, I think it will be WurstKuche this weekend.
Beer, sausages, and fried potatoes ??!? Yes please.

Who is that cooking guy on KFI he once did a whole segment on the proper way to make consistently good fries. Had to do with balancing em and putting em in the freezer....etc. I need to look that up...ohh yeah Neil cevedra right?

The garlic fries at dodger stadium were surprisingly good. Served in a mini baseball helmet.
Del Taco - very accessible.

The Air Fryer was a fucking game changer. If it could only blow me it would be the perfect appliance.

Jewishly you well!
