News reporting they are searching a landfill for her remains and mention a robbery gone wrong to be the cause of her death.
Not even a mention of her involvement with the Hollywood elites...

it seems fairly clearly she is deceased - likely murdered.
the usual suspects:
the ex hubby (Jim Wayne) - he has been speaking out and been pushing for investigation, he was also the one to report her missing initially.
But there are reports that he may have withheld information, also he has deflected by suggesting the employee (who is being investigated by feds for security fraud) is possible involved in her disappearance.
the employer (Jason Sugarman) has denied any involvement and even postulated that Heidi has history of mental illness. Jason has also said that Heidi had embezzled the company.
His company (Camden Capital Partners LLC) is being investigated by SEC for fraud, Heidi was the company controller - if something shady was going on, she may have either been involved or had knowledge of the details.

well not really but the official story is that Heidi OD'ed at a party in the apartment building on the 40th floor. Her body was dumped into the building trash shoot.
the case has been closed on the request of the ex husband (so that their son could receive mothers life insurance funds).
and here is the kicker, Heidi worked for Camden as a CFO of sorts -
Camden Capital Partners, the firm owned by Sugarman that’s at the center of the seven-year SEC investigation into the alleged scam that prosecutors say he committed with a coterie of other Wall Street hucksters. This group includes Jason Galanis, an Angeleno whom Forbes once dubbed “Porn’s New King” thanks to his billing service for pornographic websites, and Devon Archer, who is Hunter Biden’s former business partner. Sugarman is accused by federal officials of lining his pockets with $9 million from the alleged scheme.
this goes really deep, many rich and very powerful people are in the circle.
