I’ve had more than my share of flakes. If they truly apologize or gave me a reason (even a poor one)
I usually except that and move on.
But one person actually said “hey sometimes people stay longer than there time”
Like that was my fault!🤦🏽♂️

The rest of the story:
I actually wrote her one last text about the same time I posted this stating: I'm seriously considering giving you a negative network rating.
That got her attention. She wrote back within minutes. At first she seemed confused. Then she reread the text history and seemed genuinely apologetic. She offered to travel to me immediately and at a discount.
So, I'll let it go. Even though her excuse was lame, but probably legitimate. She was exhausted and passed out for nearly a day. Must have a drug problem or some serious life issues. At any rate, I was apparently very low on her list of priorities.
Time will tell if she really comes through with making it up to me, since I live in norcal and it may be months before I'm in her area again.

I had an appointment this last weekend..slept right through it..first time I flaked like that. Luckily the provider let me make it up to her, & was pretty cool about it. The highlight was that she thought I was a catfish from my pics, but was totally taken back that they were accurate. Feelsgoodmang. my network is too small for a negative rating, so extremely thankful she was cool.
Try to only make an appointment when I’m in the area the provider is & ready to walk out the door after convo.
OP I’d let it slide, could be one day you miss an appointment & it would be nice if you were given the same courtesy, even though no apology was given.

Uh... she's either lying or she's not someone you'd have a good time with.
Years ago, a bitch flaked on me & it took me an hour to get to her near the airport. She never responded to me after that. So I called her out in the clubs. THEN she wrote back to me, making up some bullshit story about how she cut herself on her eye, was bleeding then had to go to the hospital. Funny how she, in the meantime, had posted another ad, a guy saw her, and he told me she had no eye injury.
I gave her negative karma, never let others forget about her & ran her out of HX. She didn't return for years & then only for a short time. She was BarbieLovesKen or something like that.
I never went out to LAX again. Not worth the chance some cunt would flake on me.
At least she's trying to make it up to you by driving to you AND giving you a discount. Let's see if she comes through this time. Otherwise, out the bitches. It's the only way these flaky, ADD cunts learn.

I just can't imagine not having a car & relying on any 3rd party.
Perhaps it's just me, I've been driving for nearly 40 years, I can't imagine life any different.
When I lived in a large east coast city, I was always intrigued, but understood those without a car - that was 20 + years ago.
In LA - with not much public transportation, and the distances, harder to fathom work/ personal life without a car *for me*
Not attempting to be disrespectful, nor insulting, ride share apps I am sure make it easier, perhaps I'm too old to "get it"
