I am m having a Vegan Thanksgiving. I have been vegan for over three and half years now. I have Ulcerative Colitis so I am Vegan for my health.

How does being vegan help Ulcerative Colitis?

It’s easier for me to manage flare ups with a plant based diet. I have been Vegan for three and half years and I have no interest in changing it. I feel physically better as a Vegan. It’s very difficult for my body to digest most food hence why I am very petite/slender.

Ulcerative Colitis is a chronic incurable disease that causes inflammation in the digestive tract.
Ulcerative colitis is usually only in the innermost lining of the large intestine (colon) and rectum. Forms range from mild to severe and is incurable. Having ulcerative colitis puts a patient at increased risk of developing colon cancer. My Body My choice it’s just easier for myself to manage it being Vegan.

48 hour Brine, then smoke the turkey. Superb.
Glaze then smoke spiral ham to completion. continue basting to prevent dryness.
