The problem is, San Diego is a transplant city. We have the best weather in the whole country, also known as America's finest city, Therefore anyone that moves here is going to stay loyal to their home team where ever they come from. San Diego is also a big military town, so same problem as before. There are a lot of San Diego Charger fans, however if you looked at a calendar and wanted to go see your team play, where would you most likely visit on the calendar? San Diego/LA now. It is shitty being a chargers fan, but it is what it is. Does that explain why there is always more fans of the other team?

also depends on who they play
raiders are probably bigger than rams in LA
pitts has huge following
cowboys have huge following
i think in the cowboy game they had to use silent count? they talked about it...not sure it happened

More Raider Fans went to games in San Diego than Charger Fans did...
Been there a dozen times.

not anymore, since they knocked down the stadium in San Diego.
Qualcomm, Jack Murphy, or SDCCU or whatever u want to call is gone.

There may be more Charger fans if they play exciting games like their victory over The Steelers last night.

Justin Herbert is the definition of a franchise player. He could be the best QB in the league.

The Chargers are also moving their headquarters and practice facilities to El Segundo...
The new 14 acre site should be up and running in 2024...
Also, SoCal loves a winner, and some star players to rally around and be the faces of franchise. The Chargers are headed in the right direction, but it will take 5 to 10 years for them to get Sofi Stadium to 80% Chargers Fans and 20% the visiting team...

Just like the Clippers will always be the second team in LA to the Lakers, and the Jets are the second team in N.Y. to the Giants, the Chargers will always be the second team to the Rams.
