In excerpts released ahead of a speech Monday, Prof. Sarah Gilbert says the scientific advances made in fighting deadly viruses “must not be lost” due to the cost of fighting the current pandemic.
“This will not be the last time a virus threatens our lives and our livelihoods,’’ Gilbert is expected to say. “The truth is, the next one could be worse. It could be more contagious, or more lethal, or both.”

Questions Raised About Study Linking mRNA Vaccines to Increased ACS Risk
Helped along by a media appearance by controversial British cardiologist Aseem Malhotra, MD, an abstract presented as an ePoster at the virtual American Heart Association (AHA) 2021 Scientific Sessions last month has been embraced by some as evidence that the mRNA COVID-19 vaccines increase the risk of developing ACS over the next 5 years.
But those findings, based on a little-used blood test that one cardiologist characterized as “not evidence-based,” have been swiftly called into question.
Circulation has published an “expression of concern” that cites multiple deficiencies in the abstract. A spokesperson for the meeting also clarified that abstracts are not reviewed for accuracy and the meeting takes no responsibility for their content; the AHA is now reviewing its abstract submission process.
The notice now attached to the abstract lists numerous concerns. “Specifically, there are several typographical errors, there is no data in the abstract regarding myocardial T-cell infiltration, there are no statistical analyses for significance provided, and the author is not clear that only anecdotal data was used,” it reads. “We are publishing this Expression of Concern until a suitable correction is published to indicate that the abstract in its current version may not be reliable

That’s funny. Doesn’t explain why several European countries banned the Moderna vaccine for men and boys 30 and under due to as they stated, “myocarditis risk.”. Nothing to see here though.

^The risk is very low and most cases are mild. Still there is no reason for a lower risk group for COVID should have to worry about myocarditis, even if very rare. That was the thinking. It is thought that myocarditis risk is dose-dependent. Moderna has a higher mRNA dose than Pfizer.

I think you misread what you were looking at Gina. I do it often. On October 14th the CDC added mental health conditions to the list of physical conditions which make someone more vulnerable to death or hospitalization without being vaccinated.

The latest data dump into the U.S. Government’s Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System (VAERS) happened the other day (12/3/21) and covers data through 11/26/2021.
There are now 927,740 cases reported to VAERS following COVID-19 shots for the past 11 months, out of the total of 1,782,453 cases in the entire VAERS database filed for the past 30+ years.
We are on pace to see 21,307 deaths reported in the first year following the experimental COVID-19 shots, while the average yearly deaths reported after FDA-approved vaccines for the past 30+ years is 305 deaths.
As of this most recent update in VAERS, we have now found 2,809 fetal deaths following COVID-19 shots injected into pregnant and child-bearing women for the past 11 months.

Yeah. I think this statement is more about your bias showing than mine. I had an issue with hydroxychloroquine because it doesn’t work for COVID. The vaccines work fine.

The reason people should still mask indoors in public places particularly where there is a high prevalence of COVID even if vaccinated is although vaccination reduces infection and transmission, it isn’t 100%. In fact, over time, the effect wanes a bit. That’s why boosters are recommended. Thus to reduce incidence of infection and transmission further, it is recommended people mask. People should probably use effective N95, KN95 or similar mask that forms a good seal.
No intervention is 100%, so two effective interventions are better than one.
You’re creating a false narrative that people expected vaccines to reduce infections by 100%.

The main transmission path is long-residence-time aerosol particles (< 2.5 μm), which are too fine to be blocked, and the minimum-infective dose is smaller than one aerosol particle.
The reason workers in a virus lab wear moon suits, go through multiple sets of sealed doors with decontamination procedures before that suit is removed and breathe pressurized outside air while inside the lab is that these are facts and said virus -- any virus -- will go right through

FFS.. All those surgical masks you see..yea those were meant to protect the environment from the person, ie: the person being operated on. They were designed to protect droplets of blood from entering the doctors mouth as you lay on the operating table, much like the dentist is being protected from saliva entering his mouth as he commences work on yours. NOT the other way around. It’s too protect the human environment from the person wearing it. In a sterile environment, it's not uncommon to see doctors and nurses switching to a new mask every 30 minutes during a procedure. You also always see nurses put on a new mask while making rounds. And that's in sterile environments. Your grocery store is NOT sterile. Imagine how quickly those masks get clogged in non-sterile environments. Pretty..fast meaning by the time you've walked from your car to the building door your mask is probably bullsh*t in it's effectiveness to protect others (cause remember it's not designed to protect you in the first place, only the environment from you).

“The same rules that apply in Washington DC should apply here in Oregon,” said one of several tweets from Senate Republicans, who have consistently criticized the governor’s masking policies.
“Apparently COVID-19 only exists in Oregon schools and offices and not in ballrooms in Washington, D.C. at swanky fund raisers,” Oregon Senate Minority Leader Tim Knopp, R-Bend, said in an email Monday.

In my hometown, Santa Clara County has had a mask mandate for 9 months and over 5 months ago, implemented fines of up to $500 for individuals & $5000 for non-compliant businesses
So what happened? Deaths went up 5200% after they started the fines
