This is horrible!!!
I hope you're able to recover something..

I went two years ago and over the weekend and this year was by far was the worst ... it was so unorganized and way too many people
I had someone try to take my phone out of My purse but caught them as they attempted to unzip it. A LOT of phones were tracked and taken to lost and found so definitely make sure you stay on them about locating it
So sorry that happened I hope they find it. They definitely need to do better

I was going to go but changed my mind that’s crazy!!! Hope you recover all your stuff

Hmm, never been pick-picketed at a jazz, classical music or even a blues festival. Wonder if it has anything to do with the demographic?

Gajin
It was 60% white lmfaooo
So yeah, maybe so
The rest were mostly Hispanic and a few sprinkle of blacks were there

Hmm, did I say anything about race?

Sorry to hear that you got pickpocketed! Lots of thieves out there especially when it is a crowded situation. Hopefully, you will get your belongings back. I suggest you check your credit continually since your social security card was also stolen. You might want to let the SS administration know and order a new card.

No you didn't . My Comment was based off of the blogs I saw people posting a few days ago and wanted to shut that down before the whole "hip hop and the black race" Comments started again
That's all

I don't view them as synonymous whatsoever...

Oh
Okay

Well if that's not what you meant then I apologize ..
And I would agree that I think the age group is the main factor rather than race .. I kept saying "I think I'm too old for this shit" and I'm not even 30 yet.. And it is definitely the younger generation who are into the newest phones and gadgets.
Don't think a 50 year old would be out there stealing cell phones that they can't use even .

So sorry to hear about your time at Rolling Loud . Hopefully this didn’t taint your live music experience. It was crowded and the weather was cold but for the most part it cool to be there.
I attend 2-3 festivals a year along with dozen concerts. I went to Rolling pound NY on Halloween and it rained and I went to Rolling Loud LA in San Bernardino. The LA was disorganized the first day . Traffic control , parking, artist set times and stages were not updated. The VIP area was located too far from the stages and limited artist merchandise. The second and third day the set times were moved up and things stayed on schedule. Headliners set was still limited to an 1 hr or less which is a shame …Kid Cudi and J Cole and Future/ Kanye could have easily played for another 1 hr. It was cool to see , Ken the Man perform , Swae Lee & Slim Jim back together and for the most part everyone was chill and safe. I’m glad I went . Spring time would have been perfect time for the event though. I have found Hip Hop crowds to have the most energy , enthusiasm and always chill.
Never know when Cudi or JCole will be out on tour again so that is primarily why I went .
The demographics skew towards a younger crowd at these events but I have never had a problem, just have to be aware of your surroundings… I only take a credit card, calif I’d, vaccine card , my phone, 200 cash for the sketchy food vendors after the show , a zippo & good attitude. No wallet , no keys, no watches , no chains , no problems.

That sucks. I got picked at 2007 Vegoose in the Stooges pit. Crew hit a bunch of people

No doubt the blacks were behind the "forced reparations"
Thank Allah they liberated all those phones from the evil capitalist running dog white slave masters!
Racism is in the DNA of America.
The American Revolution was a plot by "the Man" to make this country rich on the backs of slaves!
You are all guilty and you should Zelle me some coin right fucking now!!
By the way, how was the music?

Come on, nothing to do with race or age. It's simply that if you have individuals on stage who glorify stupid, violent and criminal behavior, don't act all shocked when when you attract people who engage in such stupid, violent and criminal behavior. Seriously now, it is sad that young people today have limited their exposure to other forms of art/music/culture where they mistakenly believe these "rappers" are the pinnacle of talent. They apparently don't realize that "music" producers peddle rap and hip-hop because it's a cheap, low-cost product for them. They don't have to deal with realm musicians or people who have bona fide skills, much less can think for themselves. They can round up any attention-starved dumbass off the street, throw some bling on him, wave a few benjies, surround him with equally low-rent skanky hos, and they have themselves a "star".

I remember listening to an interview where someone in that part of the music industry (someone famous but his name escapes me..I’ll try to dig it up), but it was a meeting that took place in the conception of gangster rap where essentially the record industries & leading artists at the time had made a deal with prison owners in which record labels would push out music that would essentially fill the prison systems.
It was a document going around that revealed some crazy stuff. I gotta try to find it..
Think of the switch that was made, we went from SugarHill Gang to Cop Killer..
Don’t get me wrong I like Ice-T, & Rapper’s Delight..but...chit

Love me some Beethoven, there is no better piece of music then Symphony # 9
But when I put on mix when listening to my music, Too Short also comes on right after which is kinda awkward lol

you should hear my Playlist
It will go from 2pac to unchained melody to system of a down lol I mainly listen to James Blake radio on oandors but my apple music Playlist is so random .
I found it Odd that he said it has nothing to do with age then continued to mention "young people"
It has nothing to do with the kind of music but more so space and opportunity
If you've ever been to Paris you know how bad getting your pockets picked is out there. Also the same thing happens at beyond wonderland which is a whole different kind of festival. I went a few years back and had someone try to snatch my phone out of My hand (thank God for pop sockets).. Like I said it's an age thing or simply just opportunity. Older people don't care about taking phones or gadgets and can also differentiate the fact that these people are not someone we look up to and simply just entertainers. Yes their music isn't the greatest and most positive but if you hear a song and start living your life by it, chances are you still have some growing up to do...
Also the real artists like jcole, chance the rapper (check out his song "I got angels") , saba, sylvan LaCye(check out his songs "the best me" and "grateful") don't get the recognition they deserve.
Have you ever went to a college party and hear the DJ say "let's get this party started" then turn on smooth jazz??
I didn't think so either

@DavisM1 Symphony # 10 is now available. Interesting project and good listen IMO.

@ June.Moon I'm older and can definitely work a phone. I just don't have the skills to steal 'em.

"Bless your heart ...have a good day"
Translation from the American South vernacular:
"Go fuck yourself"
Good one June!
