In other COVID news concerning the science of it, not the politics:
Omicron causes large reductions in neutralizing antibody titers for both previously infected people who developed antibodies and twice vaccinated (mRNA) people. An mRNA vaccine boost restores these large reductions.
This means an mRNA vaccine booster could restore a level of protective immunity (from symptomatic infection) that was lost in previously infected people who developed antibodies and in twice-vaccinated people.

In other interesting news, while the difference in neutralizing antibody titers between two- and three- shot mRNA vaccine doses is rather small when the original Wuhan virus was used, the three-shot vaccine has much higher titers than the two-shot for the Omicron variant. This suggests the boosters induce a memory B cell expansion that results in a broader set of neutralizing antibodies that are more likely to target new variants.

I don't understand why you think spike protein lasts 15 months in the body.
Most proteins made via mRNA clear the human body in a few weeks. Biologically speaking, it would make sense if spike protein produced by mRNA did the same.

We have boosters coming out every 3-4 months =15 weeks.. Logically speaking, the mRNA should degrade after a while and the production of spike proteins should stop.
Unless the mRNA gets reverse transcribed into DNA, so more mRNA will be created, turning your body into a spike protein factory forever.

The second article is a proof of concept paper, the authors even wrote as so much, with experiments performed in vitro. So, it's not even definitive that it affects healthy humans. The article even concludes:
"In conclusion, although more investigation being needed to definitively prove the harmful
effects of the S protein on the heart PCs and associated microvasculature in vivo..."
If the ones that argue against masking up, which is a valid individual choice, is predicated on the less than 100% effectiveness that masks lowers the spread of COVID-19, then one surely can't hang on these articles because the authors are even more unsure of the implications from their findings. They mention no-less than 8 times that these are experiments. Sure, not wanting the vaccine because they're "experimental" is fine, so then why is it OK to use this experimental article to back up that belief?
In other words... a person can't say they are fair and balanced when they're wiling to say "I don't believe in one camp because of doubts, but I believe in another camp where even the authors have their doubts"
