Wd22 you are nothing more than a complete idiot!!! The Covid vaccine does not give you 100% immunity from acquiring Covid. What they do is they keep you from getting sick enough to go to the hospital, get admitted to the ER and or get admitted to ICU and keeping you off a ventilator. One of the reasons why Covid is spreading among the NFL is these players come in close contact with each other, share all the same facilities. As of this morning the Los Angeles Rams have 22 players in our in the Covid protocol including one that had a false positive. I have not heard any reports of any of them being ill, feeling crappy or needing to seek immediate medical care. The vaccine is keeping them from getting really really sick. Or even sick at all.
I don’t know about all you other gentleman but I’m sick of these people like Wd22 And crane_op who has seem to gone away.(hallelujah).

The jab does not protect you whatsoever..well, it protects you 1.8% more than the unjabbed...vaccine does not give you 90% reduction though...here is the actual efficiency
AZ - 1.3%
Pfizer - 0.84%
Moderna - 1.2%
J&J - 1.2%
If you have a control group of 1000 people who didn't get vaccinated. If 20 caught COVID, then they have a 2% (20 out of 1000) chance as a group of catching it. Now, let's say a different group of 1000 people took the J&J vaccine. Later 8 people caught COVID. Their risk was 0.8%. The ARR is then 2% - 0.8% = 1.2%. The vaccine is really only helping 12 people out of every 1000 from catching COVID. Like I said, pretty unimpressive. Drug companies know this, so they use the RRR number.
In this case, RRR would be 12/20 = 60%. That sound much more impressive. 60% of the people who caught COVID without the vaccine wouldn't have caught it if they'd taken the vaccine. These are the numbers the media and drug companies are using. They are misleading, obviously.
360/600 = 60% (RRR) as well, but that corresponds to an 24% ARR, which is much more impressive in terms of protecting people. As you can see, understanding the numbers matters. Most people will not even think twice when presented with RRR numbers because they don't know they're being tricke

With the more contagious variants running through the population, let’s do some math. Assuming an efficacy of 95% for fully vaccinated people, with 200 million Americans vaccinated we should expect 5% of them to get COVID. 200,000,000 x 5% = 10,000,000 COVID infections among the vaccinated people. So the number of vaccinated people should go up simply based on the number vaccinated and the efficacy rate of 95%.
As the number of vaccinated people increases, we should also see the percent of hospitalizations for vaccinated people increase. As we approach 100% of people vaccinated, we should expect to see most infections and most hospitalizations be of vaccinated people.
Nobody ever claimed the vaccine was 100% effective. Nobody. So it’s ridiculous that your panties are in a bunch and you’re saying, “Ha! The vaccine doesn’t work!”
You simply weren’t paying attention and you can’t comprehend basic math.

The answer is relatively simple.
NFL players aren’t in a bubble. They interact with others. There are large waves happening now. So of course they would get infected. While there is protection against infection with vaccination, it isn’t near 100% and wanes over time, They also haven’t had their boosters yet.
If most adults in this world were vaccinated and boostered regularly, COVID would be under a lot better control. Significantly fewer waves with smaller amplitudes.
As was the case with other pathogens. See pic. Some of these vaccines weren’t near perfect at protecting against infection either, but we still were able to get control over these pathogens.

The initial claim by Pfizer and other providers, and by gov and media, was not simply that the vax would 'protect from severe infection' - it was moreso that the vax would protection from any positive infection at a >90% rate! Same for Moderna and others.

The Republican who lives in Arizona contracted Covid when him and his wife went to South Dakota and they ended up in Sturgis. I had gone to Mount Rushmore first and had a great time. The very first weeks of September both him and his wife came down with Covid. Now the other twin who I play golf with regularly just got back from visiting his brother. And he tells me his brother looks like shit. They both are lean guys. Neither one of them had much gray hair to speak of but now my golf partner says his brother hair has turned 70% gray they can’t taste food, their sense of smell is still depressed and when I’ve talked to the one who had Covid he sounds raspy on the phone to me. But y’all do what you want I don’t care. I’m just gonna make sure that me and mine are protected. Oh BTW I’m a retired healthcare worker.

That’s the other problem people somehow forgot even through the CDC admitted to the fault ones of the PCR test. You can detect any microorganism with PCR, but what actually happened is they simply stopped testing for Influenza RNA and switched to COVID instead. PCR only works when the primer is calibrated to detect that specific DNA/RNA.

So the primer dictates what you're looking for, if you use a primer for Influenza you will only find Influenza, if you use a primer for COVID, you will only find COVID.
So all they did was change the primers. That's why in the same month Influenza completely vanished, and COVID emerged. That's why you will see shortly that Influenza will make a triumphant return (articles are already "predicting" [lol] the flu's return) and ALL they have to do is change the primers!
Everyone that has ever been sick with "COVID" was sick with Influenza or any other bacterial pathogen that causes pneumonia (primarily streptococcus pneumoniae - has identical symptoms as "severe COVID" - what a coincidence!!). So why are all the able bodied people prevented from living a life free of
masks, since most people have been vaccinated.
I'm an unvaccinated senior that had covid-19 recently, probably the delta variant
and survived, so I should now have natural immunity. But the government/Fauci
aren't interested in natural immunity.
