This study shows that after three months the vaccine effectiveness of Pfizer & Moderna against Omicron is actually negative. Pfizer customers are 76.5% more likely and Moderna customers are 39.3% more likely to be infected than unvaxxed people. see link below

Actually, 78% of Albertsons have had one dose, so if 81% of them are catching Covid, that means the effective effectiveness of the vaccine against infection is zero.
There could be a few reasons for this effect, aside from the preposterous notion the OP has that vaccines have no inherent effect against infection:
1. Vaccinated people may test more.
2. The behaviors of vaccinated people may be different than unvaccinated people. Young, vaccinated people might think they are completely safe and take no precautions.
3. Efficacies of vaccines have waned with Delta, and more so with Omicron, and boosters haven’t caught up yet.
4. Efficacies of vaccines against infection wane over time, and boosters haven’t caught up yet.

The paper backs up my analysis: “The negative estimates in the final period arguably suggest different behaviour and/or exposure patterns in the vaccinated and unvaccinated cohorts causing underestimation of the VE.”
