I know some of you cannot read, but here is what the constitution says about Impeachment.
The impeachment process is in place to REMOVE the person from office......nothing more, nothing less. If the person is no longer in office, Impeachment NO LONGER applies. This does not say anything about inflicting any other punishment, conviction, etc. If the office holder has committed treason, bribery or other high crimes and misdemeanors, AND they are convicted of same by the Legislative Branch, they are then removed from office.
