There was a blargh about this a week ago. Right now it is still healthcare workers. I believe the consensus was worse case feel Bleah for a day.
Next groups up in Cali are really old people, high risk people and old people (50+) starting next month. After all them people's it'll be the everyone else group. No eta on that.
Conspiracy and anti-vaxx people will tell you it's just water. Filled with special tracking beacons, made from babies, make your dick fall off(even if you don't have one), make you fart lemons. Etc etc.

There was that nurse from Tennessee who passed out on live TV a few minutes after taking the vaccine. She used to post almost daily on her Instagram, but she hasn't posted in weeks since this event. Check out the comments on her last post on Instagram.

Got my first one today. Mild discomfort in my shoulder. Don’t buy into the disinformation from the trolls. Covid is real and it is deadly. Don’t believe me? Take a tour of any hospital in Los Angeles.
Next injection is 27 days from now, and 2 weeks after that I finally get to meet some of the lovely ladies out there again. 😊

Yeah, they said she has a history of passing out. Which begs the question, why would they make her stand there and talk if they knew this could happen.
The optics are really bad on that one.
She is a cutie tho.

@Zeros Why do you think she hasn't done anything with her Instagram in a month whereas she used to post almost daily. It's suspicious. A lot of people all over the world are wondering if she's still alive. Every time I visit her page, her follower count increases as does the number of comments on her last post. She's almost has 50k followers and that last post has 10k+ comments wondering if she's OK.

I now know 10 people who have taken the vaccine, including two who have taken both doses. Both Pfizer and Moderna vaccines appear to be really safe.
Most have had no side effects whatsoever (beyond slight soreness at the point of injection). One person had redness at the injection site and felt tired for a couple hours. That’s it.
By the way, the shot is essentially painless.

Twenty-three people died in Norway within days of receiving their first dose of the Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine, with 13 of those deaths "all nursing home patients" apparently related to the side effects of the shots, health officials said.
Common reactions to the vaccine, including fever and nausea, "may have contributed to a fatal outcome in some frail patients," Sigurd Hortemo, chief physician at the Norwegian Medicines Agency, said in a Friday statement.
All 13 were nursing home patients and at least 80 years old. While officials aren't expressing serious concern, they are adjusting their guidance on who should receive the vaccine.

I will take the maker of Viagra.
Sadly why is this vaccine not available right away, like if I want to take it now, i'm not frontliners (nurse, medical field, etc), 65+ Is there like a walk-in place that is available.

Follow the attached link. The appointments fill up fast, but if you refresh and try it later or tomorrow they add new times. I'm getting the Pfizer vaccine at a drive thru clinic at Magic Mountain on Sunday. They still have openings at UCLA Health - Thousand Oaks Internal Medicine for Moderna.

Tell them you're 92 and dyslexic, not 29 yrs old 🤣

"23 die in Norway after receiving Pfizer COVID-19 vaccine"
The Norwegian report of deaths among frail elderly following the Pfizer vaccine imply a death rate nearly 4 times lower than the weekly base rate for all-cause mortality in the cohort.
Hence, these reports do not appear to provide any statistical evidence of harm:
23 subsequent deaths out of 33,000, mostly in their 80s and 90s. Fatality rate is hence 0.0007.
Death rate for 85+ group in U.S. at least is ~14% per year. That is 0.0026 per week.
Hence, the base rate exceeds the rate for the intervention by a factor of ~4.
It's noise.

I have had both shots.
1st shot. sore arm for 1 and half day, slight itching on the same side of the shot on my palm for 1 hours. no rash. no major problems
2nd shot. sore arm again for 1 day, nausea, low grade temperature up to 99.5.x 2 days. joint/body ache x 2 days. no major reactions.
So overall, no major side effects. Those symptoms above you'd expect from any vaccination.
You expect second dose to be more symptoms. First shot is the Priming dose to get your immune system to rev up. Then second shot is to get it to be more protective. I've talked to some that felt generally weak for 2 days.
The immediate major side effect you should be worried about is SEVERE ALLERGIC REACTION. Thus why they are supposed to watch you for at least 15 minutes after the shot.
Delayed side effect is Bell's palsy and other undefined neurological problems.
other Long term side effects are yet unknown but unlikely.
so yeah vaccine appear safe (this is for Pfizer and Monderna vaccines)

Had my first shot on Tuesday. Had Moderna vaccine. Long Beach is ahead of most in administering the vaccine. Next day my shoulder was a little sore. By Thursday I was fine. Looking forward to my second shot. I highly recommend getting vaccinated when you get the chance.

Got my first round today.
Side effects? Yeah. It made me so happy I wish I could dance.

120 years old and can't get it
I'm tempted to develop a couple of comorbidities just to make it happen
What do you think?
COPD & diabetes
Or, hypertension & noninsulinoma pancreatogenous hypoglycemia syndrome
Which is more likely to get me in?

Just go blackface

I got my first shot (Moderna) 9 days ago. Arm was sore for about two days. The first night I was a little lethargic, but that was gone by the next day. Most of my co-workers were similar. Some experienced more fatigue, others slight fever. Overall nothing drastic. Long Beach is further along than the rest of LA County because they have their own health department.
And apply some critical thinking about the vaccine for fucks sake. 23 people who were over 85 and had serious health problems, BEFORE getting the vaccine, died. They were already on their way out, but let’s try to say the cause was the vaccine to justify our idiotic conspiracy theory.

getting my first today at UCI, don't expect any issues, same as shingles, no issues
their website to schedule an appointment has much to be desired though
|
|
California, right now, is DEAD LAST in the US in percent of shots used.
That's a disgrace.
|
|
Newsom obviously was ill prepared for the roll out of vaccines.
Locations like Disneyland, SOCO, Dodger Stadium, etc, should have been ready, fully manned and website established for appointments. They are now stumbling and bumbling even setting appointments.
Further reason he needs to be recalled.

I got the pfizer vaccine at the great western forum. Took 20 minutes. Sore arm for a few days and a weird feeling but am better now
|
|
newsome and california are definitely a disgrace
on a lighter subject, got my first vaccine today at UCI, amazing how organized they are there.
in and out in 10 minutes and an email for the 2nd shot will be sent
they're doing a thousand a day there, no issues, no pain, in my case
I'm actually impressed
|
|
pain in the arm
|

Got my first moderna shot February 2nd with no reactions at all. Got my 2nd shot March 2nd. I didn't feel any effects until the third, had a cough all day, 4th and 5th felt like I was catching a cold but cough went away. Feeling better now than yesterday.

Old geezer finally got his shots
Pfizer at Soka
No reaction to the first
24 hour slight flu after the second
3rd eye growing in the back of my head now
Makes driving a real bitch
Me?
I'm good
|
|
I got my second shot a week ago and I feel fine. I was with a couple of close friends and none of us experienced anything as far as side effects besides being a little bit sore the next day.
|
|
I seem to be growing extra fur or is it wool , sort of like a sheep BAAAAA. and have a craving for grass. Baaaa.
|
|
Just got my appt scheduled -- Mar 10 -- very excited. If you're in LA county, use the site I linked below....
|
|
I will take it as soon as I am eligible.
Then I'll get my second shot, like 4 weeks later.
Then 2 weeks after that, look out world - I'm coming back out to party!
|
|
I got both shots of Pfizer. Almost NO side effects other than a slightly sore arm for a day after the second dose.
|
|
Got my Pfizer 1st shot today.
Sore arm is an Understatement.
|
|
Damn. How are you all getting shots? Most of us won't be able to get one for a while, at least I thought...
|
|
^ WTF, KITT?
Thought you were in the health care field, maybe have some kind of "in" but I guess not?
Don't you go dying on us, lol
Grandpa Joe says he's on it and everyone will have the jab by the end of May, so put your 2 masks on and get your butt plug rammed in real good for another 90 days and you'll be fine!
|

We are old farts.....over 65
|
|
Mine smell like lavender and sound like a string quartet
Sometimes they can be seen
|
|
I got it and I think I’m ok🤪
|
|
Both of them and the second I was not at full tabie mode for a whopping three days.
|
|
So many conspiracy’s out about this. At least it makes conversation for some. I prefer not to discuss this kinda of stuff and prefer to talk dirty convo. Let’s make the world a better place lmao
|
|
Trump and Melanoma got their vaccines in January and as far as I can tell, they are both alive. Still I think Republicans agree that not wearing a mask and not getting vaccinated is the manly thing to do.

You might want to look at the Covid and economic stats of Florida vs. CA or NY before you go full retard in a blog......just saying that's it's better to be thought a foolio than to post and prove you're one.
I guess it's too late now, isn't it?
