It may be that covid 19 in some form will be with us for quite a long time. So far experts believe the current vaccines will work on new variants. It makes it more important than ever that people get vaccinated even if you are skeptical.

That's conveniently HALF the story, jazz. Fauci also twice described the virus as “an evolving situation,” and said, “Every day, we have to look at it very carefully.” In other word, THE CURRENT SITUATION COULD CHANGE. And it did.
