A lot of people will be disappointed, including me, if Biden is not a moderate.
The policies he's talking about now are not moderate.

We have a healthcare plan that is a Republican plan. (Yes the ACA/Obamacare was a Republican plan that they wanted until Obama passed it. Thats why they havent had an alternative plan in 12 years) We still overpay the military. The economy is doing terrible and people are unemployed. 400,000 people have died from a pandemic while millions are sick. The middle class is disappearing while the rich are making out like bandits. 10% of the country lives in poverty while almost a third lives near the poverty line. Our education system is being neglected and we languish in mediocrity.
I could go on.
Maybe it is time for some radical changes. We have been on a conservative push to the right. We have heard how Obama, Biden, Clinton were these radical liberals,,,they were moderates. Meanwhile Bush and Trump pushed some very conservative agendas. It would be nice if we actually could get a radical liberal in office so we could see the difference. Made University affordable again.
Made minimum wage a living wage. Unfortunately Biden is a moderate. He has more liberal people in his administration that will try to pull him....but again...it's like comparing Newsmax to CNN. One is far right and one is centrist that has had a more liberal outlook as a reaction to Maga.
What policy is he pushing that you consider moving too far to the left? He has come out against forgiving student loans, while people in his admin are pushing for it. He is pushing for a higher stimulus...but so was Trump after the last stimulus was passed. He wants to improve the ACA.

Biden's liberal policies/acts I wish were more moderate:
1. His immigration plan isn't balanced like Bush's or Obama's. He's not offering any concessions to restrict entry of future illegal immigrants.
2. His pick for the Civil Rights Division has expressed negative opinions of white people. She has written controversially about black and whites at Harvard, writing things like "melanin endows Blacks with greater mental, physical and spiritual abilities—something which cannot be measured based on Eurocentric standards."
3. He plans on massively easing taxes. First on families / individuals with 400k and above. But it’s to endlessly increase social security even though life expectancy has gone up. You need to index the benefit to life expectancy. 65 made sense in 1935. It doesn’t in 2020.
4. His pics in Wall Street are hard core left. He wants rigid regulation of finance. He’s using Obama’s strictest regulator . And he hired a radical for the consumer protection agency.
5. Small biz. President-elect Joe Biden said this week that he will prioritize help for small businesses hurt by the COVID-19 pandemic based on the racial makeup and sex of their owners. “Our focus will be on small businesses on Main Street that aren’t wealthy and well connected, that are facing real economic hardships through no fault of their own,” Biden said in a Monday video. “Our priority will be Black, Latino, Asian, and Native American owned small businesses, women-owned businesses, and finally having equal access to resources needed to reopen and rebuild.” I consider this liberal because I believe there are also a lot of businesses owned by others that won't get priority even though need may be great.

You are actually surprised???? Really, it was totally clear from the get go, that Joe was the 'stumping horse' and that he was the placeholder since all of the radical crazies including Booker, Sanders, Warren, and yes, Harris, were totally and completely unelectable.
People are just so stupid. You actually believe a politician..... look at what those around them are saying and who seems to control the levers.....the Squad, Pelosi, Bernie, Harris....those are the people who will be making the decisions moving forward.

“ People are just so stupid. You actually believe a politician..... look at what those around them are saying and who seems to control the levers.....the Squad, Pelosi, Bernie, Harris....those are the people who will be making the decisions moving forward. ”
That I disagree with. Some of his policies are liberal not because of the Squad, Pelosi, Bernie, and Harris, but because of Joe Biden.
Nevertheless, I still would vote for Biden over Trump. At least he believes in democracy.

Conservatives push further right all the time (anti-immigrant, anti-tax, pro-pollution, anti-science, anti-alliance, unlimited executive power).
Yet you right-wingers expect Dems to be weak, middle-of-the-road moderates or they are somehow 'radical'?
Such two-faced bullshit for logic!
