First they came for the Communists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Communist
Then they came for the Socialists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Socialist
Then they came for the trade unionists
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a trade unionist
Then they came for the Jews
And I did not speak out
Because I was not a Jew
Then they came for me
And there was no one left
To speak out for me

Why are Trump people so good at painting themselves as victims?
Fact check: you aren’t a victim.
|
|
The victim will be the 2nd Amendment.
Of course the Bill of Rights is outdated as is the Constitution.
The 1st Amendment will be trashed.
Ya gotta love progress?

Awwww... poor “butt hurts.”
Weeping like someone who’s been dumped.
You relished in delight during the last 4 years, you’re beginning to see the correction and comeuppance of that arrogance.
Bite that pillow.
Hard.
It’s only day 3.

“You relished in delight during the last 4 years, you’re beginning to see the correction and comeuppance of that arrogance.”
Not really.... but...
It’s all cyclical... so... enjoy your time in the sun. The one thing you can count on in America is that one side never has all the answers.. and it doesn’t take long for the center to turn against those in power.
It’s a difficult balance to find.... regulation vs deregulation, tax increase vs tax cut, military growth vs military cuts, government programs vs government funding....
California has reached the tipping point. Billion dollar businesses are leaving the state one after the other... they are taking tax revenue and jobs with them.
The country is following suit. Adopting unsustainable policies/programs...

And, so it starts, lol
Biden says to NLRB General Counsel Peter Robb (love the last name), resign or get fired but still got 10 months on his term. NO NLRB counsel has EVER been fired and no cause was provided. Mr. Robb declined, so Biden ("we must end this uncivil war") fired him on Joe's second day on the job.
Even the law-breaker Trump never fired NLRB GC appointed by Obama who served 9 months into 2017 to the end of his term. But, now that ongoing "constitutional crisis" Trump is gone and we can return to "normalcy", this is how it starts.
Bottom line?
The NLRB is how Unions get control and they have to be the first to be paid by the Biden admin. By controlling the GC, Biden hopes to neuter the NLRB board which currently has 3 Reps and only 2 Dems.
This should make clear to all that there is no "Unity", lol
Unless by Unity you mean, "my way or the highway"
Straight out of the Obama playbook
This is just politicians being politicians, they are all the same you dummies
|
|
Yeah, I’m learning very quickly that Biden is no moderate.
|
|
Nope, but the beautiful thing about it for those of us in the middle is that Biden's moves now will seal his fate at the mid-term as he loses both houses of congress and essentially becomes a lame duck president half way thru his one and only term, lol
But, he can do a lot of damage in 2 years leading up to that.
Biden has always just floated along with the ideology of the Democratic moment
20 years ago, he was mister hard case on the crime law
Now, he's gotta bend over for the Prog left wing
If he governed down the middle, he would have a much better Presidency and more productive
As it is, I predict a 30+ loss of house seats and possibly 3 - 5 senate seats, if he continues down the road he's taking
Meanwhile, Keystone laid everybody off.
The Fed minimum wage will blow out another 500,000 or more jobs
Always reminds me of George McGovern and I quote:
In 1988, I invested most of the earnings from this lecture circuit acquiring the leasehold on Connecticut's Stratford Inn. Hotels, inns and restaurants have always held a special fascination for me. The Stratford Inn promised the realization of a longtime dream to own a combination hotel, restaurant and public conference facility -- complete with an experienced manager and staff.
In retrospect, I wish I had known more about the hazards and difficulties of such a business, especially during a recession of the kind that hit New England just as I was acquiring the inn's 43-year leasehold. I also wish that during the years I was in public office, I had had this firsthand experience about the difficulties business people face every day. That knowledge would have made me a better U.S. senator and a more understanding presidential contender.

kinda fun to see all the carnage...it's almost must-see TV again
shit, it's possible some in the media are going to start asking some tuff questions of them

I'm so old I remember when Republicans like to spin and pretend that white supremacists were not members of the Republican party. That militias, and white power groups were not terrorists but freedom fighters...Now it is openly embraced and no one here denied
"biggots, white supremacists, terrorists, etc... basically anybody not on the left."
|
|
Extremist groups have been a problem in the US for ages. Look at the 1970s. Tons of attacks by left wing extremists. Just buried away in time. Both sides of a political argument will always have frustrated nut jobs willing to kill or destroy in what they believe in.
So you know...all of you knuckleheads can point fingers forever or... I dunno think things through and have a rational discussion without resorting to swearing and threats.
