Is eating and drinking pretty much the focus/highlight of this cute little district in San Deigo?

And riding "byrds"

Eating and drinking is not the focus anywhere in California right now.

Neither is camping.

All that building down there. I hope they plan for all the added traffic. Residential parking is a joke. They have obviously not planned well for families with more than one car.

For the negative heads the down town areas to include Little Italy. The area is geared for tourists and the party scene. All you older ones that don't understand Uber and Lyft will have a hard time. The twenty somethings have no problem getting around the area. Little Italy is now residential shops, yup set up for tourists and party crowd. Another nice area the gaslamp only it's for tourists hotels shops and some residential. The sad part for both areas for Covid-19 restrictions will probably change the face of both areas. I can only hope the places I like are still there when this garbage ends.
