Holy shit!!! I just did the math as that didn't seem possible but it is. I have run multiple marathons (26.2 miles) and he doubled that. Just goes to show you how many freaking home runs 755 is.

I got turned onto baseball as a teenager, listening to Blaine Walsh and Earl Gillespie broadcast the Milwaukee Braves games. Hank Aaron was a young guy, early in his career, but already the star of the team.
That ball club made me a lifelong baseball fan. I still love the game.
