Yep, an article published in August 2020 “finally” admitted...
Correct Jarhead, but it was revised and re-released this month.

The debate has been settled with HCQ with or without antibiotics or zinc. It doesn’t work. It doesn’t block entrance of SARS-CoV-2 in cells associated with the lungs. That’s because it doesn’t block the TMPRSS2 protease. It does block endosomal cathepsin L. So the trick is, if you combine HCQ with something that blocks TMPRSS2, you might have something there.
A paper from PLOS Pathogens that just came out combined HCQ with a clinically-tested TMPRSS2 inhibitor. They block entrance of SARS-CoV-2 in cells much much better than HCQ alone. There seems to be a synergistic effect using both. There’s also a small-sized RCT that uses HCQ and bromhexine, a TMPRSS2 blocker, that showed excellent results with this combo in preventing ICU admission, ventilator use, or death. Problem is study is small. More research needs to be done, but this combination is promising. If desperate and sick with COVID, I might use this combination, but only this combination, NOT HCQ alone or with azithromycin or zinc.

Yeah Night-Rider...what you said!!!!!!!!!
@NightRider: I bet you lost 99% of the HCQ crowd after the second sentence. Reading is obviously not their strong suit.

Trump didn't even use HCQ when he got Covid, or is everyone forgetting that?
And in yesterday's Covid briefing, Fauci said:
"Obviously I don't want to be going back over history, but it was very clear that there were things that were said — be it regarding things like hydroxychloroquine and other things like that — that really was uncomfortable because they were not based on scientific fact," Fauci said Thursday at a White House press briefing."
He was referring to Trump's pushing of HCQ without any evidence of its effectiveness.
Trump is already out.
Covid is Biden's number one priority.
If HCQ is effective against Covid, it would be touted now.
It isn't being touted now because It isn't effective.
So NR...you are saying YOU know more than these 23 doctors who are or have been actively treating Covid-19 patients???? And I guess you are saying this article is total bullshit....that the clinical results they have experienced was all luck, chance and a hail mary outcome?
Harvey Risch is one of the authors. He’s been pushing HCQ even though large, well-powered RCT’s have shown HCQ doesn’t work, and Nature journal has shown the biology of why HCQ doesn’t work.
Anecdotal evidence contains many biases. Perhaps one of them is a confirmation bias.
No hospital in America uses HCQ.
whatever you guys say...it was political
everything trump did was political...just look at a few of the recent executive orders...look at fauci (mr political)
the good thing is that time has passed and NEW drugs have become more effective
Tons of doctors do with the antibiotic/zinc regimen
And, i personally know quite a few patients that got it and shortened their symptom periods significantly
Weird shit about the human body and this is true for diets, pharmaceuticals, etc.
Everybody is different and everybody reacts differently to different shit
NONE of the 3 items in this regimen does harm so why not try, they won't hurt you that's for sure
Efficacy is a different matter
that was the big thing...it's been given out like candy to military and diplomats for 70 plus years with zero harm to them
they tried to bring up the heart issue with it...but that was just stupid. a stupid doctor would know when to give it or not in that situation...it would have been the SAME over the last 70 years of use...what was different now? TRUMP saw a report and thought it could be hopeful in a time when shit was getting really bad

Dumdfuck Dr Fauci approved HCQ for CVD viruses in 2005. It's all a lie..
CNN doesn't even scroll the covid deaths all day & night either.
Also, the WHO says they will change the way they count new cases, resulting in a lower total count.
You either have it or not. What a scam.
So there you have it, biden got control of the virus in a week..
Fucking litards... covid queen...
Let me rephrase that, 2 days he saved the USA from covid,
"Dumdfuck Dr Fauci approved HCQ for CVD viruses in 2005. It's all a lie.."
Nope. Sorry. Worked in 2005 for a different virus SARS-CoV, not SARS-CoV-2.
Read the paper below to understand why.

The doublespeak is astounding
Biden killed 4,200 people with covid on inauguration day. The media is silent. #BidenVirus
Thank you for the HCQ insight NR
Dear ladies of HX
If you need a zinc deposit....holla
NR knows his doublespeak, lol
But has very poor judgement
Headline from the U.N.
"COVID-related hunger could kill more people than the virus"
And, it will as 250 million are now in danger of starving to death due to lockdown disruptions in the supply chain.
Lockdowns in this pandemic will go down as the worst disaster in medical history.......ever.
so put another 250 million deaths covid death charts...
The docs are still prescribing azithromicin so recoveries aren’t slowed down by the c diff that patients would otherwise pick up during their hospital stays.
Just like the Biden Presidency, covid is 5 days of hell, but then you get over it.
"Lockdowns in this pandemic will go down as the worst disaster in medical history.......ever."
If people actually followed all the rules, new cases could go down much faster, and we could lighten up on the lockdowns.
@gbd
“And, it will as 250 million are now in danger of starving to death due to lockdown disruptions in the supply chain.
Lockdowns in this pandemic will go down as the worst disaster in medical history.......ever.”
You know I give you credit when I think you get it right. You’re just flat out wrong here. You need to think about what really happened:
1. Trump knew early on in February 2020 that this was a dangerous, highly contagious virus (Woodward interview).
2. Trump is a selfish imbecile who thought
a. minimizing and ignoring it will make it go away
b. was too lazy and incompetent to have a real plan
c. figured herd immunity would be the route to take....because
d. the blue eyed, blonde haired Swedes were doing it
e. because of c., when the shit hit the fan, lockdowns were the only viable option
3. Several reports have indicated that Trump’s gamble on herd immunity was “helped along” by him
a. encouraging elementary schools through universities to reopen
b. having large rallies that never encouraged masks or social distancing
c. these became super spreader events
4. So the result of Trump’s stupidity
a. the U.S has 4% of the world’s population, yet 20% of Covid-19 cases and deaths
b. our economy has suffered longer and more deeply than had he encouraged masks & social d. from the start
c. and we’ve been in lockdowns for longer than would have been necessary had Trump had half a working brain
That is cause and effect,
That is logic, and unfortunately,
That is exactly what happened.

@ Granite
It’s funny how you picked up on the line that I used to suggest that Trump is racist (sometimes, it’s fun to throw in an obvious ja.
But to answer you directly, I guess you don’t remember Trump’s desire to curb immigration from “shithole countries”, saying:
“Why do we want all these people from Africa here? They’re shithole countries ... We should have more people from Norway.”
What’s the deal with your defending of his racism?
^Calling those brown and black countries "shithole countries" in reference to people immigrating from them while saying things like he wanted more immigrants from Norway, wasn't referring to the countries themselves but the people who wanted to immigrate to the United States from those countries, and it is racist.
But honestly, I'm tired of talking about Trump. He's gone, thank God.
Granite, I know you enjoy arguing with me, but it is tiring to discuss anything with people who always choose to interpret things in the best possible light to support arguments (no matter how flimsy) to counter another’s arguments.
This country has a large, white racist population (of course there are black and brown racists too).
It is centered in the South, but it is essentially dispersed across the entire country.
I honestly didn’t believe it until Trump allowed it to bubble up.
I don’t think that you’re racist, simply because you fight against that label so much, but you choose to ignore it as I have until now.
It is a problem that needs to be dealt with in civilized society.
The White Capitol rioters were treated very well in comparison to BLM protestors in Washington DC. Don’t bring up Portland, Seattle, or any other protest. Those criminals needed to be brought to justice. I’m talking about the protesters in DC that were maced and beaten so that Trump could get his photo op holding a bible (upside down) in front of the church near the White House.
Now you’ve successfully caused a distraction from the whole point of this blog:
HCQ that was touted by Trump is ineffective against Covid-19.
Trump handled the pandemic poorly, resulted in unnecessary deaths, and increased the duration of the lockdowns and economic fallout.
And we are all suffering for his science-denying stupidity.
I wish that HCQ was effective. We'd have a tool that worked, and fewer dead people as a result. It's not that tool, it was a distraction.
Also.... If you think medical professionals battling this thing and putting their lives at risk to do so lied about HCQ's effectiveness just to hurt Trump when it could have saved lives, You're a special kind of dumbfuck.
I don't think Trump is necessarily a racist, but he has a pattern of saying things that are racist. It could be that he is sloppy with his words.
sloppy with his words is pretty good...he says some cringe worthy shit
the charlottesville thing where biden based his number one reason for running...was not one of them
it's the DEMS trafficking in racism....MAYBE it's a good thing biden won...so the world can see it
now just have to hope that they don't change too much stuff before 2022 elections....trump got more minority votes than than any PUB in last 50 years....they were coming to his side of things...they would not be coming if they thought he was a racist...takes a lot a years to break down the DEM barriers to this voting block...slowly but surely it was starting to happen. china derailed him
More crying... Please everyone of your drumpys...take HCQ. I am going to my lizard people meeting so we can laugh at you.
"You know I give you credit when I think you get it right. You’re just flat out wrong here. You need to think about what really happened:"
Well, you're progressing nicely from mostlyannoying to maximallyassholey, lol
You fucking crash test dummy
I'm not wrong because I didn't say it
The United Nations said it and I simply passed it on
Then rather than address the issue of food supply chain damage done by lockdowns
You went on a mindless rant about Trump
And Trump's got practically zero to do with lockdowns happening across the globe
Then the mental midget, MR, with his...."if only people would act right, we'd have done better"
FUCK!
It's as if someone scooped out your brain with a rusty spork
Laughing emoji would go right here
If it wasn't so painful dealing with morons
But here goes anyway
If we had eggs
We could have bacon and eggs
If we had bacon
GoBallsDeep. A lot of people way smarter than you agree with what I say. The fact that you dismiss it so readily shows you're the moron.

I thought HCQ subject has been done and finished a long time ago, what is the point of going back to the subject that did not make any sense from the beginning. Even in this journal article, all they are saying is that it may work if the symptom was in the earlier condition, but not effective when it became complicated.
I just watched Face the Nation; interview with Deborah Birx and she said how disinformation and data manipulation by Trump administration was rampant, and her effort to spread the truth was prevented by hampered seriously by this administration. Ashamedly, only two people were wearing masks inside the white house herself and her assistant.
Here is the transcript;

jesus christ man
attach your links already
hit the attach links prompt under the message dialog box
paste the link into the Link 1 field
not difficult

^
Irrelevant. I thought showing the link address is much safer, it is clear to everybody that the link address in genuine.
So what is your definition of masculinity in your own terms. Explain it to everybody so that people can understand.
