California is expensive but offers endless opportunities to grow and gain wealth. If that’s not on your menu definitely head east. I love the other 49 states but’s CA is my favorite.

More oxygen for me!

I offer free moving services for anyone wanting to move to 48°52.6′S 123°23.6′W. I offer a free 1/4 acre of ocean front property too.

I just moved down to the east side of my city. I can no longer wear red.

Nothing beats living in Cali. Hard to come back after you leave (financially). 🌞🌅🕶

What?? I double my salary and live in a cheaper state. I live in a nicer apartment downtown and my rent is half of what I was paying in crappy part of OC.

"I double my salary and live in a cheaper state. I live in a nicer apartment"
You might need a better job... Just sayin
|
|
My tax is also lower. It is much cheaper to pay the plane ticket to fly to Cali, eat vietnamese food. see the lady.. than it is to live in cali. My time now is so soooo much more valuable than the plane ticket.

I’d rather make a little less money than have to deal with 130 degree weather and monsoons! Besides I like to surf and can’t do that in the desert. Lol

Wave pools for surfing in AZ... Rick Kane

|
that's another movie I would tune in each and every time it's on...which is not very often

|
It's a classic for sure..

Mobility is an underutilized asset for accumulating wealth...especially for the young and unattached. Nothing wrong with moving and leveraging earnings from high cost of living states into a lower cost of living state. Lots of engineers in Silicon Valley are doing that now that many companies allow workers to work from home. Avg mid career Silicon Valley engineer is about $150k+/yr, yet many of them are leaving CA for NV, AZ, ID, TX etc. Lots of retired CA folks do this by taking their high CA retirement income and moving to lower cost of living states. If you don’t mind giving up CA year round sunshine and can maintain your Ca earning power elsewhere, it’s a no brainer to move to where you can stretch or double you dollar with a simple relocation.
Not everyone who lives in CA lives in 90210 or Newport Coast. For those who don’t, for the price of living above downtown LA’s skid row, you might be able to move your entire family into a 90210-like neighborhood out of state.

I Love Cali! ❤️ A Winter storm for a couple of days ❄️ and now today is a Beautiful Day with all the snow on the mountains! 🌞 Meanwhile it's 21 degrees back home!

@ 2 small for porn!! Yes! I invest in Cali and have folks who pay me to pay my mortgage and a little extra.
I take that little extra and make my portfolio grow into other great "growth paths" in America, investing one hour away major cities in the South East.
I have to do what old school investors do. So yes, im going to places where its like California 20 years ago.
I'm NO spring chicken. Need my retirement to start flourishing!! I'm middle aged now. LOL
Everything hit me when I pulled my back muscles doing some unique probing maneuver. I said "shit, I need something more sustainable." And so I started land hunting, driving all throughout America to find the future real estate gems. And 3 cities caught my attention.
And it's very cheap to travel back to Cali. Just like what Nine Ride says!!!! Traveling back to Cali is so underrated.

Got to love the Cali snobs looking down their pointed nose at those that talk about moving or have moved already.
Yeah, we get it, you will never leave and will die here and be buried/cremated here.
There are pluses and minus's in every state/city/county/country. That includes the former Golden State.

I'm moving back. Although I never stayed in Vacouver more than 7 months in a row. Selling my condo and moving back. Can't beat the California weather. For the rest of you, please move out if you don't like it.
