I have been following r/wallstreetbets for a couple of years now.
Its just a sub reddit of people talking about what stocks they like and overall market info. Also many memes.
I saw u/deepfuckingvalue talking about GME in 2018 and 2019. He bought in at less than a dollar.
I decided something may be happening here as there was much chatter about GME and I figured, hell if it even moves a few bucks it will be a win so I decided what the hell?
It spiked to just under $600 in January and when it leveled at $325 thats when I decided to sellout.
The whole plan was to put the hurt to the hedgefunds that were over shorted in GME and it worked. One of them had to be bailed out by their billionaire pals.
It has also been sad to see the main stream media try to paint r/wallstreetbets as some kind of alt right bunch of trump supporting dude bros as it is nothing of the sort.
This was just lucky timing and nothing more. GME would have never been on my buy list if I had not been a lurker on WSB.

Hey there! Looove this post/topic thank you! I got rly into stocks not til early 2018 but my percent return is consistently over 30+ ... not too bad I don’t think lol. I read Motley Fool, Zack’s to see the ratings from strong buy to strong sell etc.. some may say I’m kinda nerdy buuuut I love it just.. would love to have enough money for higher returns (though i suppose who DOESNT? lol) What I’m currently invested in and has done me best so far?
