Is it ever going to be possible again to simply pay with a credit card?

First of all, many apologies to those who were inconvenienced by this issue.
The problem is due to the recent HUGE spike in the value of Bitcoin (BTC) possibly due to Tesla's announcement.
Our crypto payment service can not handle such tiny percentages of any given coin. Our minimum is $25, which at the current value of BTC as of this writing is $46,573.
25 / 46,573 is .0005 Bitcoins. Their minimum for whatever reason is .0008.
So if you purchased BTC to release yourself or convert to FXP, again, many apologies for the inconvenience. But at least now you have some cryptocurrency! Learn about it and invest and make some money!
No other coin is that high so you can buy $25 worth of any other other, just not BTC.

I used litecoin to purchase a few days ago, it works really well. The confirmation speed is actually much faster compared to a few years ago.

Did you send cash or a check? Did you generate instructions when you did or did you just mail the check in?
According to the site, these transactions are processed in 3-5 days so yours is a weird situation.
I’d recommend you create a support ticket and explain everything you did. The site answers these Monday through Friday during normal business hours.

I did it that way too, via mail, I sent post office money order on Feruary the 18th and nothing yet, I will wait one more week then I am going to post office to track it maybe it got lost.

The Walmart e-gift card was amazingly fast. Instant verification.

I use Home Depot eGift Cards and gift to Myself choose email then the verification code is sent right away.
Depending how much eGift you purchase the credit example below:

Wanting Humaniplex FX points forced me to learn about crypto currency. I started a Coinbase wallet with $50 of Etherium. After a few transactions of Etherium I bought some Bitcoin.
Figured WTF and stuffed a few hundred dollars each into Etherium and Bitcoin. Now the account is worth a few thousand!!!

To the people still mailing in Checks, at least try BTC. One you do it, I guarantee you will prefer to use it again and again.

Yeah Wahoo same for me. I did $75 from my coinbase to the HX processor coinpayments and watched as the BTC was confirmed. No FX points no mail unlock. WTF?
How long does it take the fat asses at HX to credit my account?

bought some ETH the last time I needed to fill up my FX points
I left a bit - 20 or 25 bucks worth of ETH in my coinbase account
I recently needed more FX points so I went to have a look and now I have a couple hundred bucks worth of ETH. WooHoo
There was a tricky part in the coinbase transaction, one of those hard to fathom boxes that took me several guesses to get right, but once I hit it, I had FXpoints in about 20 minutes.

Ok. So I have a Coinbase account. But what is "CoinPayments"? Do I need to set up an account with CoinPayments and then link it to my Coinbase account in order to pay HX? There don't seem to be any clear instructions, unless I'm just missing them.

Thank you - it worked!
The answer is that I did need to transfer BTC from my CoinBase wallet to CoinPayments. The Coinbase link (to get a free $10) confused me initially and I thought there must be a way to transfer the BTC directly from Coinbase to HX. But I found a video on YouTube showing me how to transfer between the two wallets and it turned out to be pretty easy. HX credited me the FX points really quickly once I received confirmation of the CoinBase to CoinPayments transfer.

I spent over an hour setting up a coinbase and a coinpayments account and uploaded all kinds of personal information. Still I could not transfer the currency from coinbase to coinpayments .... in the end I purchased a Walmart e-gift card in less then 5 min and confirmed to HX and DONE!
I do not mind the hassle of coinbase or coinpayments because I will need to learn this at some point because in 10 20 years the government will push for total electronic transactions YET for HX I would just keep it SIMPLE and do gift cards until HX offers Venmo or stays with gift card.
I want to compliment HX for doing what is necessary to keep HX alive and if crypto is the future so be it yet it is not easy the first time trying to figure it out on your own ha ha .... okay mail is up and time to have fun

I’m sure the site is happiest when you’re purchasing FX points by your preferred method. So if it’s Bitcoin, money order, credit card, whatever, so long as your purchasing, that means they are getting.

May I suggest they get lost on a hike, meet an apex predator, and continue the circle of life by becoming a contributing part of the food chain? Or, politely point them to this blog so they can learn about how easy it is to purchase fx points, which they can use to purchase more mail.

Gdamnit…. Sorry if it seems I am ignoring anyone- Idk if it’s just me/my account BUT…. Can’t get the crypto to work to unlock more mail so gotta walk in the Fd up heat or take a Lyft lol to go to store to buy a gift card? I always just write a check and mail. I do notify the site that it is on the way. Never had a problem, but I never come close to running out of mail.
