Arnold switched off his republican membership.
So
Who's your pick for the republican who will knock him out?
bring in TRUMP

This recall vote is doomed for failure. Even if it removes Gavin the next Governor is bound to have the same political leanings and ideology. I think it will only serve to be a particular victory... the majority of California voters still lean left and love their identity politics... no change for California ANYTIME soon.

Damn autocorrect ... pyrric victory

^ You're probably right. But the one thing it will accomplish is stopping gruesome's political career in it's tracks.
Hopefully it's also shown people that no one from sf's city government should ever hold a statewide office ever again, or at least not for a long time. But that's probably too much to ask for.

Grenell dodges on run for California governor as Newsom recall heats up
'We have a disaster here in California,' former acting director of national intelligence says
'It did get Newsom to ease up on the restrictions.
Oh, wait. That was completely a coincidence.'
It wasn't coincidence. It's him realizing he completely f'd up and the recall is really taking place.
So it's him trying to do something to show he's not completely incompetent.
Fortunately it's too little too late.

so many problems
tone def to all the businesses leaving...that shit snowballs and takes years and years to build up
a potential 31b problem with EDD
Buh-Bye Gavin....and go fuck yourself while the door handle hits you in your ass on the way out.

needs to be a PUBLiCAN taking over...let's see if they can turn this fucking thing around

'needs to be a PUBLiCAN taking over...let's see if they can turn this fucking thing around'
That'll be almost impossible - the assembly and senate are run by dems.
Seemed like arnie tried but finally gave up.

agree...state is toast
maybe get lucky and have a senator to two go down...they can name the replacement
I'll probably go with John Cox is there is a recall.
These continued restrictions in mostly blue states is causing
a lot of economic, psychological, and cultural damage, so
in the process of saving lives, I wonder how many lives have
been destroyed?

@wunanddun, don't you just love it, that many Californians love the homeless and
mentally ill. Love high taxes and a higher cost of living.
Actually many are coming to their senses and there will eventually
come a reckoning. đź‘Ť
But in the meantime, more misery to come.

cali is fucked regardless.
It's good that Newsom is pretty much out, but I bet whatever replaces him won't be much better.
Think about it when was the last time California even had a good governor?
I think the mayor of San Diego is running. I think someone here posted a link to one of his interviews and I thought he was pretty good. He’s republican but sound center right leaning. I’d be open to him.
i'll vote for him
are there any celebs that want it? probably a good time to put their hat in the ring
Newsom is not going to lose if he is recalled.
I'll bet anyone right now.
I’ll place a Trading Places gentlemen’s bet that if Newsom is recalled, he ll lose. (100 FX points..whoohoo!) I think too many business owners and workers are frustrated with the inconsistency and some hypocrisy of his lockdowns.
ok. Anyone else?
A suckers bet. Nahhh this place has no idea what's best for everyone.
It's a good thing they had extra time to get to 1.5 million.
There's 22 million registered voters in California.
I'm not sure there's as much enthusiasm for this as you fellows hope for.
I did see a bus on somebody's posts with Nazi symbols and some nonsense like that.
Maybe the messaging is a little ... off?
What do you think Crane-Op? Is that a winning road to take?
if newsome gets recalled, his hopes for the whitehouse are all but gone!!
Everybody here knows that Newsome's daddy was an attorney for the Getty's, I assume?
Getty fossil fuel money is what put this incompetent egomaniac in power
And, he's been a diktater thru and thru
Newsome, Harris, Gascon???
Fuck SFO and their shit stained sidewalks

It's seems very funny, how all the libtards politicians want mail in voting for elections, without signature verification, but good ol newscum demands all signatures and addresses be verified..
Could he be scared there is voter fraud?

I just cannot believe anyone bashing Governor Gavin Newsom. He may be the greatest governor of all time.
He has done more for the restaurant businesses than anyone ever.
He has made the states infrastructure one of a kind.
No other governor has done to the state's businesses what he has accomplished.
When it comes to taxation no one else compares well almost no one.
It seems like only yesterday that he closed everything for safety and now he reopened them.
All this with zero impact to the state.
How can anyone say a negative thing about a future president?
Well he is a leader
They still need at least 500000 votes. The corrupt democraps will be throwing away so many votes, saying the signatures didn't match.
I really doubt the recall will make it to the ballot..
I dont like newsom, but like lets just take him out next election. Hes not dangerous, just a douche
The recall will happen and I'm not holding my breath that anyone but another progressive idiot will take over.
Isnt it odd how when you look around this country at the states run by a log jam of Democrats the places are completly fucked up...
"In December 2020, Governor Gavin Newsom nominated Weber to succeed Alex Padilla—his nominee to succeed Vice President Kamala Harris as California's junior senator—as Secretary of State of California."
The person that certifies sigs was put there by Newsome. I doubt any of those sigs will pass the test, lol. It'll be zero for a million five.
Note how Progs head for the hills when one of their own turns out to be a massively incompetent fuckup..
