Standing outside his home in Houston, with the chants of protesters audible, Cruz said his original intention was to stay through the weekend on a trip to Cancun with his daughters. His daughters had requested the trip, he said.
After losing power, huddling around the fireplaces and learning school was canceled, Cruz said his daughters told him they wanted to travel somewhere warmer. He and his wife decided to go along with them to be good parents, but "I started having second thoughts almost the minute I sat down on the plane."
"In hindsight, I wouldn't have done it," Cruz said, adding it had been his "intention to work remotely." It became "more compelling" for him to return as controversy grew about the trip, he said.
“I want to return the the greatest state in the greatest nation and serve my constituents. Leaving when so many people were hurting didn't feel right and so I changed my flight to come back today," he said.
“If I gotta suck the cock like every gay cowboy from El Paso to Beaumont (like jazz does), I will do it to earn every Texan’s good graces. Trump cock is bad enough, I can handle lesser loads.” As Cruz lowered his mask.

No. It has nothing to do with catching Dems without masks. It has everything to do with Dems passing laws to throw your ass in prison and steal from you via fines if you don’t wear a mask, go outside, travel, eat in an indoor restaurant, or operate a gym but then they don’t wear masks, go to get their hair done by a private barber and eat at indoor restaurants and go the gym.
