Common Kaiser, what is the point of pushing this subject other than to divide HX members or this nation more than necessary.
I did not comment on this blog, because I believe Limbaugh is not a worthy person to be commented, and in that case, silent treatment is the best option to show my resistance, especially for the guy who made an asset of $500 million dollars at the expense of making fun of people/victims.
Stop this nonsense.

And Rush Limbaugh's net worth would have been closer to $1 billion had he not been such a philanthropist, giving hundreds of millions of dollars to charitable organizations, and helping hundreds of individuals in need that he came into contact with.
But you wouldn't know about that. People are coming out now who say that Rush gave their organizations huge amounts of money and insisted that the donor be listed as anonymous.
Word also has it that his estate plan leaves hundreds of millions of dollars more to charity as well.
Just because you don't like what he had to say doesn't make it all bad. Politics is not the do-all, end-all. He still had a heart, and help many in need.

I will fully agree that a deeper division has occurred in the last 5 years.
IMHO the conservatives views on the right have been stable and consistent.
In contrast the progressive left has been moving away from the center.
When teachers send home assignments asking parents to identify how they classify "their whitness" and then go on to say that "2+2=4" is racist you know the left is full tilt lunatic.

It still does not compensate that he used his lies and conspiracy theories to hurt and victimize other side of people who he hated and despised.
If he were a true philanthropist, he would not have abused his power with his words that millions of people were listening. Helping people has nothing to do with politics, it has do with humanity.

I really liked Rush around the time he made that video posted above.
I quit listening for the most part around 1994.... Listened on rare occasions until 2014 when he left KFI.

Slightly right of center works best over the long run.
Slightly left of center works ok, but you need to keep an eye on it.
However, if it moves too far to the extreme right or left, you will blow the engine sooner rather than later.
