Locked. No further comments permitted. Is it just me or is In-n-Out the most mediocre to shittiest burger ever created?

I admire the work ethic...the fact that the average manager makes in excess of $150,000 per year....but it's a shitty burger...and I sooooooooooooo do not get the mile long, traffic fucking up line around the building...don't get it!

I started eating turkey burgers about 15 years ago and never had a beef burger since. Make it yourself with a bit of Worcestershire Sauce and mix in some Parmesan or any kind of tangy tart cheese and it is delicious. Add some barbecue sauce when grilling or frying and it is the bomb.

Well considering the alternatives of Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, 5 Guys... In and Out isn't bad. Now if you are comparing it to say something you make on a grill? Of course it won't compare (unless you suck at cooking)
I think though you are just bitter you had to wait in line 😁

In-n-Out is OK, I live about 1 1/2 miles away from one. I go a couple of times a year. When I want a burger there is a burger stand about two miles away that I like the fries better and no line.

Everyone's tastes are different, for better or worse.

I was in Downey the other day.

There is a Taco Bell right next door to a Taco Nazo.

Like why would you go to Tbell when some much better tacos are right next door?

Yet, as I am waiting for my order from Taco Nazo, the Tbell drive thru was bumping.

WTF!

At the one on Beverly and Rampart, the plumbers fixed the toilets so they could pipe the used chili right into the burger production line.

INO burgers are average, the fries totally suck, I don't get it but the remaining family member after the jet crash is a billionaire so it's working out for her.

I like Dog Haus not sure if it counts as low cost, but what is now days. Prefer the "Hang Over" there.

Worked down the street from Pinks last 3 months, went there a few times then they closed and now I am done with that job as they reopened, I got too optimistic and sent an employee there to get lunch last Monday thinking it was Mar 1st already, sadly disappointed.

Gordon, finally, something you & I agree on. For once, no, it's not you.

Went to that place like 30 years ago, had to wait half an hour then probably another half an hour to get my order. Was shocked at the limited amount of choices. The most bare bones menu ever. Burger & fries? Nothing to write home about. Went there another time at another branch years later. Same feeling. What's wrong with people?

Son of ADam you could not be more wrong about in and out ! Call hands-down the best burger meat I actually have a rather large menu things that they don’t put on the menu like grilled cheese ,you can get your french fries animal style! The only burger I heard they can compete with an in and out hamburger is white castle. Absolutely the Internet on hamburger is better than Freddys and five guys.

When it comes to value, In-n-Out can't be beat. Name one burger that costs less than $5.00 that is as good. Their double double is I think $4.30.

It isn't as good as a burger from Houston's, but it is a third of the price.

The fries are not as good as McDonald's... what you're lucky enough to get fresh fries from McDonald's, and if I order them, I order them well done.

I think since the fries are made from fresh potatoes, they should offer fresh made potatoe chips. In addition to fries.

I love in n out... both the burgers and the fries.... but... you only have about a 5 minute window to eat it. It’s got to be hot and fresh. I’m amazed how that burger can go from really good to really bad in just a few minutes.

“If you add a little condensed onion soup to your turkey burger it will help it stay moist and give it a nice little flavor.”

But then you have to eat it with a spoon. That defeats the convenience of having a burger.

I am a new fan of Farmer Boys. I have seen them around, but recently stopped at the drive-thru at the location at El Toro Rd. and I-5. Very impressed by the charbroiled burger, thick french fries, and real ice cream chocolate shakes from a blender (not out of a machine).

Check them out!

What kind of stupid burger's only good for 20 minutes? And especially now when you can only take it to go. How far away do you live from the restaurant you buy it from? Subtract the amount of time to get back home & if, say, you live 15 minutes away, you have to scarf it down within 5 minutes? Bah!
