not as bad as 5 guys or mcdonalds
I started eating turkey burgers about 15 years ago and never had a beef burger since. Make it yourself with a bit of Worcestershire Sauce and mix in some Parmesan or any kind of tangy tart cheese and it is delicious. Add some barbecue sauce when grilling or frying and it is the bomb.
$150k.?... come on man. They pass you up for a job?
I can eat a double double but McDonald's is pure shit.
Well considering the alternatives of Burger King, McDonald's, Wendy's, 5 Guys... In and Out isn't bad. Now if you are comparing it to say something you make on a grill? Of course it won't compare (unless you suck at cooking)
I think though you are just bitter you had to wait in line 😁

Jesus Burgers is the best!
I think that it's you.
@gordonschumway Which burger place do you recommend?
burgers fine...fucking fries are the goddamn worst ever...those are the cardboard you are talking about
^ ding ding ding .... Those fries are flicking horribe.
In-n-Out is OK, I live about 1 1/2 miles away from one. I go a couple of times a year. When I want a burger there is a burger stand about two miles away that I like the fries better and no line.
Everyone's tastes are different, for better or worse.
I was in Downey the other day.
There is a Taco Bell right next door to a Taco Nazo.
Like why would you go to Tbell when some much better tacos are right next door?
Yet, as I am waiting for my order from Taco Nazo, the Tbell drive thru was bumping.
WTF!
i got two in the family that think friday nights is In-n-Out time a few times a month...i pass on half those times...most the time it's close to 9pm....which is too late when you are getting fucking old
I dont like eating after 9pm if I can help it.
One time years ago I had Tommy Burger and the chili looked the same coming out as it did going in.
Never again!
Pink's is open again but the line is long there too!
At the one on Beverly and Rampart, the plumbers fixed the toilets so they could pipe the used chili right into the burger production line.
INO burgers are average, the fries totally suck, I don't get it but the remaining family member after the jet crash is a billionaire so it's working out for her.
So, the zero's all have a negative opinion (zero rating, not Zeros the established dude).
Big surprise.
What burger joint does OP like? Not many choices out here and INO is one of the better ones. Yet to try shake shack.
Is this the AARP thread?
Then what is your standard for a low priced non-grilled burger made with non-frozen meat? What place? Please make it west-coast for ease of comparision and currently available.

Dysentary Burger in Lompoc is really good for weight loss
I like Dog Haus not sure if it counts as low cost, but what is now days. Prefer the "Hang Over" there.
Worked down the street from Pinks last 3 months, went there a few times then they closed and now I am done with that job as they reopened, I got too optimistic and sent an employee there to get lunch last Monday thinking it was Mar 1st already, sadly disappointed.
^^ Lompoc is more famous for the greasy faux-chicken patties from the the lowest bidder.
Gordon, finally, something you & I agree on. For once, no, it's not you.
Went to that place like 30 years ago, had to wait half an hour then probably another half an hour to get my order. Was shocked at the limited amount of choices. The most bare bones menu ever. Burger & fries? Nothing to write home about. Went there another time at another branch years later. Same feeling. What's wrong with people?
Well reguardless what we think , the drive thru continues to get longer. I'm more concerned with why people dont get out of the car more often.
I've made my own Western Bacon Cheeseburgers & fries for years. Don't need Carl's Jr. anymore & I've never needed In-And-Out
Son of ADam you could not be more wrong about in and out ! Call hands-down the best burger meat I actually have a rather large menu things that they don’t put on the menu like grilled cheese ,you can get your french fries animal style! The only burger I heard they can compete with an in and out hamburger is white castle. Absolutely the Internet on hamburger is better than Freddys and five guys.
I'd respond but I think you need to fix all your typos or missing words so I can understand what you're trying to say.

When it comes to value, In-n-Out can't be beat. Name one burger that costs less than $5.00 that is as good. Their double double is I think $4.30.
It isn't as good as a burger from Houston's, but it is a third of the price.
The fries are not as good as McDonald's... what you're lucky enough to get fresh fries from McDonald's, and if I order them, I order them well done.
I think since the fries are made from fresh potatoes, they should offer fresh made potatoe chips. In addition to fries.
I love in n out... both the burgers and the fries.... but... you only have about a 5 minute window to eat it. It’s got to be hot and fresh. I’m amazed how that burger can go from really good to really bad in just a few minutes.
“If you add a little condensed onion soup to your turkey burger it will help it stay moist and give it a nice little flavor.”
But then you have to eat it with a spoon. That defeats the convenience of having a burger.
I think they're patties are small to much lettec
When it’s fresh it’s the best, but anything older and colder than 20 minutes and it’s as bland as McD’s or BurgerKing.
Every one of you burger eaters is a global warming contributor.
If you've ever blogged about fixing climate change, you're a hypocrital twat
Enjoy your artery clogger
Hope you stroke out to save the planet

Gloom’s my job, GoBalls.
Stick to your lane.

Lol@Bwana.... Best comment of the blog.
@Doom. Give him some leeway; GBD's angle is being cynical which can cross into doom and gloom. You are still the king of gloom man. 😄
Side note: my auto correct converts GBD to God. 😂

Topp's Burgers are pretty good if your in the Pasadena Area. Fries are fresh too.

Why people sit 40 cars deep waiting for a shit burger is beyond me.... I'm a Fat Burger guy.

In and Out. Awesome taste and value. A 20 minute wait in drive thru. 10 inside..do able.
Agree that eating it very soon important. Not more than once a week because of cattle problem
With methane and deforestation. Hope they do a good vegetable burger very soon.

I am a new fan of Farmer Boys. I have seen them around, but recently stopped at the drive-thru at the location at El Toro Rd. and I-5. Very impressed by the charbroiled burger, thick french fries, and real ice cream chocolate shakes from a blender (not out of a machine).
Check them out!

What kind of stupid burger's only good for 20 minutes? And especially now when you can only take it to go. How far away do you live from the restaurant you buy it from? Subtract the amount of time to get back home & if, say, you live 15 minutes away, you have to scarf it down within 5 minutes? Bah!
Burger my balls and gobble it up!
