This was back in the 1990's when my grandpa was still alive, he had connections.
We took a flight over LA and OC and it was very cool. When they turn the engines off its super quiet up there.
I think its you gotta know someone. It may have changed since then. I haven't looked into it in a long time though.

Unless there have been recent changes, you need to know a Goodyear Exec to get a ride. I got one many years ago, it's super cramped and noisy upon accent and landing when the tiny motor does all the work.

The new advanced model Goodyear blimp. The NT07 by Zeppelin NT is so much quieter than the older model airship that was recently retired. Has more room in the cabin too.

Yea Advertisement. But probably more of a mocking device now a days. A dedicated slow floating meme to sear in and antagonize the people suffering from this bad year of covid.
Actually think Goodyear rubber. Blimp suppose to give allusion of made of rubber. Not sure if it is.Also video capturing service, like sporting events floating above a stadium. Carson, That Blimp had been their or near since probably at-least the 60's.

It’ s docked in Carson, right off the 405 and Main St. Just south of the 110. Cool to see it take-off.
It’s used primarily for advertising, especially during special events. It cruises the beach during the summer.
I see (and hear it) westbound over Manhattan Beach Bl. and Artesia Bl. on weekends especially during the Beach Volleyball tournaments.

The only way to get on that I know is: be a Goodyear dealer customer that buys alot of tires, hoses or other product, or bid for them at a charity auction. I got on because I knew someone that bought many hoses. It was a cool ride.
