That's insane. Who the hell would wear a $500,000.00 watch? Serves him right for getting robbed.
Funny story, thank you
Glad that moron lost his shitty watch
A fool and his money are soon parted
That is a seriously ugly timepiece.

Someone that can afford it ?
I wouldn't even dare wear a watch like that that costs so much. Just plain stupid. Flashing an expensive and stupid looking watch pure stupidity.
Who would have lose a $500k watch? Someone with $1M of insurance.
If you can't read a watch in 0.5 sec., it's an artpiece.
I'm partial to Maurice de Mauriac, non-skeletonized models.

Looking at that watch shows money and good taste have little to do with each other.
Maybe it would make more sense to show the watch to a customer inside the business, with appropriate security, rather than outside of a restaurant?

What a complete moron. So in your feeble mind, it is ok for someone / anyone to take something from someone that it is not theirs because it is expensive? Would it be ok for the assholes to take your watch or wallet?
Fucking idiot...

And I agree, that is an ugly watch. But in no fucking way does that make it acceptable for someone to steal it.

there goes the 500,000 gone.
if he was wise he could have bought a house and the house will earn him $$
I admit to being shitty
That's still a POS watch
Ever notice there's a clock on your phone?
Why the fuck do you even need a watch?
does the thing at least give you a blow job or something? LOL @ GE.
KissMeLucky I'm in agreement with you. Maybe the potential buyer set him up.
He is offering $50,000 for the return of his watch and another $50,000 for the arrest of the three guys.

can't hock the thing, so without a buyer, it's worthless

I care, babe
Not sure why, but I got this deep seated hatred of ugly watches
The Ugly Watches Anonymous meetings don't work anymore
So, I blog about it which seems to help
Free sex helps too

probably an insurance job
better check his financials

highly doubt it's an insurance scam or an inside job. They said he was with a "celebrity" client, this is not unusual.
Most of you must not be watching the news, these attacks on people with high end watches has een trending the past few weeks. They typically target rolexes (the easiest to resell), but have targeted other high end brands. There have been several videos played on the news of these attacks. Its a very concerning trend in Bev Hills.
For the idiots that said he deserved it simply because he was wearing a $500k watch, you have absolutey no clue. There are so many below the radar brands that go into the high six figures, yet you'd never know it.
Are we now supposed to drive shitboxes and wear casios just because anything else makes us deserving of a robbery?
I bet those here that mocked him think they're badass with their apple watch. Pffttt.
I've bought and sold watches while sitting with someone at a StarBucks (a certain pretty young thing was with me at the time), sitting shotgun inside the sellers Porsche, and having a nice dinner in Old Town Pasadena. Its just how its done.
There is a grey market that can move this, but it will probably have to be shipped overseas, it's just way too rare of a watch. An if it ever needs service, it can be picked up easily.

Karleg, I was at a dinner a few years ago here this guy who worked for the auction house Antiquorum had just walked in to join us from meeting with a seller who was putting up a vintage Patek for auction. He had it in his backpack (dude came in on a motorcycle). Watch looked like something your grandpa would wear, or something a 1960's nasa engineer would wear, yet they were targeting $750k for the watch. And he had it in a backpack!
Point is, you never now.
Oh and while Mille watches look big and ostentatious, theyre actually pretty light and wear well.,

lol to people who don't see the perspective or people who can afford 500k on the drop of a hat.
Lol @ me who probably won't ever see 500k
Hey Rocky said " If you wanna have a good time, you gotta have a good watch". 500k though?
Just my .02 cents but he had physical contact with a couple of the thiefs, the police probably did a DNA swabs on his neck and arm unless they were wearing gloves.
Research conducted by the FBI Laboratory's Latent Fingerprint Section-in conjunction with police and medical authorities in Knoxville, Tennessee-proves that latent fingerprints can be lifted from skin if only investigators are willing to try.
This ain't over.

I have a $6.00 Casio watch .

I'm just fine with a $250 Bulova.
