Bend over America, you will be paying for 1.9 trillion for decades to come......
|
|
Calculated actual cost of Covid to the economy is approximately $450 billion
Now we're bailing out CA and other states that couldn't control their own pension costs plus the unions for the same plus the PBGC that couldn't do the same.
Very bad economics and very bad precedent, they needed to help those who truly needed help........not every fucking idiot that couldn't manage their own shit.
For some reason, I thought there would be a few Dems that had some smarts.
It's not like the old days when members of Congress had weeks to discuss and review and make changes.
Now, it's the 2 primary members of each party plus the Pres, presenting a bill that's hundreds of pages long with 3 days to review..........most don't even read it cause they don't really care what happens, they only care about the optics and how the NYT will report it.
But, that's OK.........it's your clones that will pay the price, not me
|
|
AND, a lot of the $1.9 trillion doesn't even get spent until after 2022.......how does that help Covid?
We haven't even spent a trillion set aside from the last bill we passed.
Can anyone say Mongolian clusterfuck?
Now, I'm gonna get cancelled by all the Mongolians, fuck me!

Typical Democratic PORK......
Bail out the stupid states who locked down and decimated their businesses. The money goes to states with high unemployment during the 4th quarter last year...so if your state was totally locked down, you win...if your Governor understood businesses needed to open, you get nothing...So Cuomo and Newsom get bailed out.....FUCK THEM!!!
And don't forget money to the Arts and Museums programs, have to support those Hollywood types in their time of need.....and we do need millions going to family planning

Open up and say “ah”, Trumptards. It’s a fucking expensive “repair”, and you caused it.
Trump mishandling of the virus got you here and we’re going to shovel all this down your throats beyond your gag factor. Push those limits.
Long term this will benefit the nation better than the Trump playbook was handling things.

^^^ sorry but that's a total line of garbage.
The blue states have been a clusterfuck long before Trump arrived on the scene to get blame.
This bill is standard Socialist/Communist doctrine.
"Reward failure at the expense of those who achieve "
Not long before "those who achieve " say "fuck this,.. why should I do good" and let the ship sink.
🤷♂️

they basically can use RECONCILIATION once a year for the simple majority vote....so they needed to throw the kitchen sink in this bill
|
|
Trump wasted 7.8 trillion so cry me a fricking river.

Very good politics by the Dems. Don't go low on the stimulus like 2009 so you end up with a weak recovery and the shellacking you faced in the 2010 mid-terms. Pass a bill that has a favorable rating of over 70% and will ensure a booming economy into 2023. Growth will be over 6% in 2021 and probably 5% in 2022, strongest growth in many years. However, god help us if Larry Summers is right about the potential for runaway inflation.
The Republicans are freaking hypocrites about debt. Sure, the 2017 tax cuts were revenue neutral. lol. Or as great purveyor of Modern Monetary Theory, ex Pres. Trump, would say: i don't give a shit about debt.
Can't wait for the response from our poet laureate - Larry "GBD" Kudlow.

^ Exactly why you can't call Trump a conservative
He had NO fiscal responsibility
But then, no Republican has since Eisenhower
The Dems are a lost cult of dumbase Progs now
CBO now says that by 2050, US debt will be 200% of GDP
Brought to you by politicians from both parties
All figuring they would retire on the guvmint pension before the music stops
Funny listening to you guys argue about which crook is worse than the other crook
I just hope you have offspring so they can suffer in that dystopian Bladerunner future
Maybe get ass fucked by a replicant

That was for Cumalotonmyface
Obviously

It is possible by summer, with this bill and the ramping up of vaccinations, the country will return to some type of normalcy.

If you listen to the media, we'll all be dead by then
Either from a variant or voter suppression
I got systemic racism all up in my woke self identity as Mrs. Potato Head
"I can't breath!"

holy shit...didn't know he lowered the mortgage int. to 10k???? WTF
don't even pretend the shit affected you anyway...lotta people in orange county were in AMT...so didn't really get the federal benefit anyway
when you suck and are clearly wrong with shit in your spew listing....makes everything else you spout, bullshit also

You guys who complain about the 1.9 trillion stimulus bill, look up the reason why the US took so long to come out of the 1929 crash and you'll understand the rationale behind the latest stimulus spending.

2 trillion dollars and not even everyone is getting $600.
A lot of water hoses purchased at military prices to refill the swamp...
Paying off their cronies -- back to business as usual in Washington.

A bunch of blue states whose unemployment figures in the 4th quarter of last year were in the toilet, THEY will get the bail out money.
Nothing to do with Trump.....States like Florida, South Dakota, Texas, etc. didn't lock down so tight and didn't kill their economies....their infections are no worse that dumbshit states like CA and NY and they won't get much money while the blue idiots get bailed out......
Typical democratic party move.....let's reward the idiots and the lazy and punish the hard workers and smart people.

1. There are confounding variables you have to consider with CA and NY that most other states didn't have. For example, more cities with very high population density, and the highest rates of overcrowding in the nation. That will have a big time effect on infection rates that even stay-at-home orders may have difficulty in compensating for (especially when a lot of people aren't following them).
2. Red states shouldn't complain about the bailout money since, for years, "high-tax, traditionally Democratic states (blue), subsidize low-tax, traditionally Republican states (red) — in a big way" via per capita spending in Washington vs. taxes sent to Washington. (See link). If blue states have no problem helping their fellow Americans in need, the same should be said for red states during this time.
Having said that, I don't like the Biden COVID spending bill. It's too much and not targeted enough, giving money to people who don't need it. A large number of people didn't even spend the last two checks given to them by the federal government.

|
Prior to the vote Kevin McCarthy delivered scathing words about the content of the "COVID Relief " bill.
Talked of Pelosi's telecommuting project, some $21k to families of federal workers, and the fact that much of the pork in the bill are existing proposals from years back before COVID and the American people get very little.
DEM's are seriously wasting money under the guise of Pandemic relief.... because they can

I will use my 1400 on a few lucky ladies here
|

Hmmm lets see:
a) rising oil prices by Biden cutting supply
biden causing harm to industry by increasing oversight & regulation
c) tell business that they will be taxed more & they will have to pay the unskilled more
d) sudden increase in federal spending - growing the money supply
e) open up the border to the unskilled
Yeah, what could go wrong?'
Oh, there was a name for that - it's called stagflation.
but, I could be wrong.

This post is mos def in the top 5 dumbest all time posts on this site.........ever.
What the fuck crash are you talking bout Willis?
Stock market new high just 2 weeks ago, housing prices new high, 50 aggregate state tax revenue off .2% from 2019 total.
$1.9 Trillion is flat out stupid, stupid, stupid.
There is no basis in reality for doing this for ANY reason but political.
There will be a price to pay and the politicians down the road will pin the blame on everybody but themselves.
Given that this site is a microcosm of society in general, it's not surprising there's a full retard here that would post something so fucking dumb. Anybody know if it's possible to survive "Rotten Brain Syndrome"?

“What could go wrong?”
Despite all the political land mines to GOP sets up the shit works and Trumptards go into overtime trying to find a way to climb back to power while taking more ass fucking.

landmines

Criticism of Biden's stimulus bill from Larry Summers.
(See video via link).
|

And Pelosi is speaking out against GOP criticism of the bill claiming there is nationwide bipartisan support.
That bitch is whacked
