He knows he will beat the recall, but he will most likely loose the next election
|
|
Yes, he is scrambling to open the state and make everyone happy now.....changing the parameters again to be more 'lenient' with having vaccines distributed.
|
|
What the heck does Trump or Trumpers have to do with the Newsom recall?
Gavin is an idiot and people know it. He probably will survive the recall and remain in office in this liberal happy state. But I agree, he will lose the next election and his political career is toast.
|
|
Fuck him and his grandma Pelosi.
Not everyone who doesn't like the guy is a Trump supporter, blow it out the ass!

I'll be throwing confetti when Heir Fuehrer and Cuomosexual's hearse goes by.
It'll be great fun!

What 2 states have done the absolute worst job during this pandemic? I'd say NY and CA. I think NY probably fucked it up more than we did here in CA, but Newsome's lack of action (other than freezing up and saying nothing can happen) was second worst to the fucking idiot in NY.

It's just you
|
|
Just you
"scared shitless" no
concerned yes
|
|
same thinking gray davis had
|
|
It is ABSOLUTELY just you.
This whole "recall" temper tantrum is so pathetic & such a waste of time.
It will be easily defeated & he will continue doing his job, as he has been.
It's just so damned sad how weak & pathetic my former political party has become.

Considering how many businesses had to close because of his policies, over 19,000 closed permanently, I think there's a real possibility that he does lose the recall vote.
But it shows just how badly the 'progressives' do when put in charge. Over 50% of the businesses in SF have closed their doors. 7500 in LA.
Maybe this will wake people up. Yeah, not going to happen, people are idiots.

IMO Newsom is more concerned about saving his own political career....He and his family political machine were grooming him for a run at the WH. I think he will run for KH Senate seat in two years, but if he gets recalled he is toast...
|
|
Of course he is!!! Why do you think California is slowly opening again.
|
|
Got to love the boot lickers saying this guy is doing a swell job.
Your bar is very low if this is what you consider doing a good job.

Let the sideshow begin!
Who's on the recall debate stage this week?
Four Republicans hoping to replace Gov. Gavin Newsom in the recall will face off today Wednesday the 4th in a debate, but several of their competitors won't be on the stage.
FOX 11 in Los Angeles will host the debate between John Cox, Kevin Faulconer, Kevin Kiley and Doug Ose at the Richard Nixon Presidential Library and Museum in Yorba Linda. The network says it also invited Larry Elder and Caitlyn Jenner, as well as Newsom, but they have yet to accept.
The debate will air Aug. 4 from 6 p.m. to 7:30 p.m. on FOX 11 and FOXLA.com and will be moderated by Hugh Hewitt, president of the Richard Nixon Foundation, U.S. National Security Adviser Ambassador Robert C. O'Brien, and station hosts Christine Devine and Elex Michaelson.
The recall will take place on Sept. 14, but all California voters will receive a ballot by mail about a month in advance. Voters will be asked two questions: first, should Newsom be recalled, and second, who should replace him.
A total of 46 candidates are running to replace the governor, including 23 Republicans, 10 Democrats, 10 with no party preference, two Green party candidates and one Libertarian.

Using Elizabeth Warren in an anti recall ad not only looks like desperation, it is the perfect example of Newsome’s lack of judgement.
He think words from Warren will help him. Crazy or dumb. You choose.

Hate people who make predictions....
1. If Dems stay home. He will lose....maybe.
2. Being able to go door to door and "collect" ballots...Dems will do this and have a great ground game here. BTW this should be illegal.
3. Illegals voting.....will happen. Will vote for the person who gives them money.
4. Cheating....have we NOT already seen this. Shall I say AZ, Georgia, Penn....etc. So I believe in my heart of hearts this will happen. Whether we are using Damion machines or not. I think we do....use those machines...could be wrong.
Should he be recalled--simple answer is yes. He puts the needs of illegals/foreigners ahead of US citizens.
Will the powers in control allow it........time will tell.
Sadly...I say he survives UNLESS overwhelming votes got against him and they can not cheat as it would be so obvious.
Why do you think we have 14 days or so to vote......its to get the lay of the land and see what they have to do to keep power.
Remember when it was ELECTION DAY.....and not Election MONTH!!

This recall actually scares ME, if I understand the process correctly. So, let's get it out of the way that I despise both parties and feel we need a new truly middle ground party because both D and R if left to the extremists in both parties will RUIN this country.
And, I would love to see gruesome Newsome, as I call Gov. Gravy head due to the hair, replaced and a new Gov that will tell the CA coastal commission to fuck off. If you don't know or haven't been following they are closing Pismo to cars, and rumor has it they want to make the area more friendly to "wine country bed and breakfast". Hmmm seeing that Gruesome is in this biz, unlikely he will step in, where CA state parks wants it as-is and says CCC over stepped their authority.
Here is my fear. If I understand the process correctly, vote 1 is recall or not. If vote 1 is recall, vote 2 is for whom...with Gruesome not being eligible to win. Therefore it becomes highest number wins, with 47 people running. Conceivably, the new governor could be a winner by a 10 percent vote.
Could we end up with worse? Devil you know vs devil you don't? I truly don't know...would love to have a real discussion on this without the typical insults flying like "libtard" or "demonrat" or "trumptard" or "republicunt." What are the merits for and against trying to get rid of this clown?

Throw the rascal out. Elect a new rascal.

Then there's this ...
54% Of Hispanic Voters In California Say They Would Vote To Recall Newsom.
https://dailycaller.com/2021/08/03/gavin-newsom-recall-poll-hispanic/
Better rethink illegal Immigration? Who are we kidding! Modern Tyrannical Party dictates vote harvesting / stealing / FRAUD will win the day, followed by more importing of illegal / cheap labor.
|
|
So if this recall does succeed are we going to have someone whine about mail in ballots?
Can't wait to vote that guy out; he's more worried about his hair than doing his job.
|
|
It's you.
But his career has cratered. Expectations are that he will beat the recall. He's been using his campaign as a two-even fund-raiser, for the recall and re-election. GOP doesn't have enough Cali foot soldiers to get out the vote.
He is a tool. Besides having done very little as Gov to help make it easier for businesses to thrive, he's made a lot of specious personal decisions on staff and personal life.

|
glad it's at 6, there will be no room to park at the post office next door
|
|
He should be recalled, hes a buffoon. I wrote him off when he reversed course on the death penalty. Larry Elder would be great.
|
|
And back on topic.he’ll beat it, but like I said before he is damaged goods.
This is the end of his career when the term is up, unless there are no better choices.
|
|
Current polls have it tied
With some 6% undecided
Depends on turnout, probably
If he continues with stoopid moves like bringing school marm Warren in with her ruler to smack your knuckles
He will lose, the King is dead
Long live the King!

I'm still pissed about his trickery when he pushed for proposition six.
California Proposition 6, the Voter Approval for Future Gas and Vehicle Taxes and 2017 Tax Repeal Initiative, was on the ballot in California as an initiated constitutional amendment on November 6, 2018.[1] The ballot measure was defeated.
A yes vote supported this initiative to:
repeal fuel tax increases and vehicle fees that were enacted in 2017, including the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 (RRAA) and
require voter approval (via ballot propositions) for the California State Legislature to impose, increase, or extend fuel taxes or vehicle fees in the future.
A no vote opposed this initiative, thus:
keeping the fuel tax increases and vehicle fees that were enacted in 2017, including the Road Repair and Accountability Act of 2017 (RRAA), in place and
allowing the state legislature to continue to impose, increase, or extend fuel taxes or vehicle fees through a two-thirds vote of each chamber and without voter approval.

It's time to break up the family Cartel.

Nuisance is the Jimmy Carter of California or worse. Unfortunately Caitlyn Jenner and Kevin Falconer are not the amswers either.
I believe the recall will fail.

THE CLOWN SHOW IF GOP IDIOTS IS NOT WHAT WE NEED IT ONLY TOOK ABOUT 6 YEARS TO FIX THE MESS THE LAST CLOWN ARNOLD WAS GOVERNOR..
|
|
Yeah, the Prop 6 ballot description was so very false.
Kinda typical Dumbocrat.
|
|
There is nothing about CA that we can consider as 'fixed' as a result of Newsom taking over.
This state is in steady decline towards the utopian Progressive shithole that Democrats aspire to. Mindlessly high taxes a regulation, police reform rendering law enforcement ineffective, and bending over backwards to illegal immigrants while businesses leave the state.
Even in the midst of this recall Newsom has the Board of Education suing him over K-12 mask mandates for this fall. Hes just a Progressive circle jerk.
Newsom is just another Commie dictator disguised as a Democrat.

@GBD
'school marm Warren' = America's Annoying and Slightly Evil Mother in Law
|
|
You can thank Bercerra for the wording on Prop 6.
That was reason #1 why he was plucked out of Congress.
|
|
Thinking out loud here…the democrats stole the presidential, house and senate elections. They are going to steal the California governor election too. So why fucking bother.
|
|
^ duely noted and valid point
I think Democrats have had CA rigged for a decade now.
But I'm still going to vote to recall the idiot Gov.
I can see it now... initial returns show strong support for recall but the gap closes just past midnight and is narrowly defeated by 0.6% at 2AM the next day.
|
|
If you truly believe what I just said then you are fucking foolish and COVID is just a way to plant a chip in your little brain. Bunch of dumb fuck!
