The officer that told us it was a sex problem and not racism has already been caught promoting items racist against Asians in regards to Covid on social networking. Don't accept his word that there was no racism involved.
Personally, I believe he has multiple issues...obviously...but racism was definitely a deciding factor in businesses targeted and victim selection.

Many people have mental issues ... some people think they can divine reason from murderous action. If hate for Asians was in his heart then he's racist ... so what... if he had not killed anyone he could and would still be racist and we would do what?
He's a murderer and murderers should..... die..... quickly and without much fuss regardless of reason. Especially when there is no doubt whatsoever that they are guilty.

Addressing a slight portion of your topics.
Tangent first. Walls have been on the Southern Border in the populated areas. There is electronic detection and surveillance devices. With manned officers,Patrol/Spotters and drones. The cost of a wall, maintenance included per fail rate, isn't worth the funding. Berlin Wall & Israeli West Bank, both had/have tunneling issues. Same as the US. Melilla Border Fence, Massive amount of coordinated people continually rushing the fence, over powering the security elements.
By having the North America Free Trade Agreement we were able to give economic benefits to the Mexican population reducing the fleeing numbers of Mexican citizens, compared to what it was in the 90's. The problem now is South America, which needs economic stability & lower crime rates. The US has in the past meddled in South American Governments.(The Monroe Doctrine). The US meddling may have caused instability.

Immigration is a future projection numbers for economic growth.
A large youthful, working age population is always needed to keep the government economically increasing above inflation rates and being viable 20 years forward. When the current population isn't reproducing at a projected rate the government needs to import people. The working age population is important for growing the economy through work productivity,purchasing and taxes. With a large population aging out of the work force, the "Baby Boomers", becoming a Dependency Ratio. That population will be using Social Security and Medicare. Which needs to be funded by taxes from the working force.
As of April 2020 the federal government values each life at $10 million. The amount a person contributes to the economy over their lifespan.

Obama promised us he would "fundamentally transform America." He did.
Now every single thing is about race, and white people are always the villains.

We were in the best place racially in the history of America before Obama came in, and first thing he did is say that the police "acted stupidly" in Cambridge and had a beer with the cops and a black Harvard professor who was unable to follow the instructions of police in a potentially dangerous situation. It went downhill from there.
Now it's about whiteness, being too white (whatever the fuck that means), and whites being hated by blacks, latinos, and asians, for the perceived wrongs of white people that has been perpetrated by the media and the political left. Why? Because a divided America is a prosperous one...for them.
We're all human beings...we should ignore the bullshit and all start acting like it.
