I am VERY surprised that George S. put those words in Biden's mouth.
Have no illusions, George S. is a Democratic hack, putting ANY democrat in a bad light, I thought was against his grain. He will never ask any hard questions of Biden - rather he'll ask what's your favorite color, or boxer or briefs (town hall, clinton 4/94).
It was a softball question that Biden should have very easily sidestepped. He did not.
My only guess is Biden is too stupid to take that softball pitch and hit it in a direction of his choosing.

You know damn well Trump didn't invent the vaccine, any more than Al Gore invented the internet. But the only way the vaccine is even here in a year's time is because of Trump's aggressive and businesslike push to get it done, streamline the process, and eliminate unnecessary regulations...getting it to us in a year instead of five.
However, Dementia Joe trying to take credit for the vaccine is a joke, the development of it, and the purchase of all of the current vaccine was all done by the Trump Administration. Any other representation of alternate "facts" is a lie and disingenuous.
Does anyone remember when Joe and Kamala said they wouldn't take the "Trump vaccine?" That they didn't trust Trump or the process and that it wouldn't work? What a joke it was to see those two jump the line, get their shots on TV and tell us all to do the same!!!

@Jack Biden isnt taking credit for the vaccine. He is taking credit for the distribution. Under Trumps plan it would have taken 10 years. Biden will have everyone who wants one to have both shots by the end of summer. Other countries had a vaccine before us,, operation warp speed had little impact on the development of the vaccine. The vaccine makers admitted as much. But the next step was distribution. Trump had no plan. He told the states nothing. When the vaccine was ready...he told the states...uhh...good luck. The same thing with PPE and national guidelines and a national strategy.
Meanwhile Trump is out there boasting he saved 100 million lives. Our vaccine wasn't first. He didn't develop it. His administrative action had little impact but I give him credit there. But really....it is like praising a 5 year old who did something obvious. Oh you freed up some money and took down some red tape during a deadly pandemic in an attempt to help some companies produce a vaccine sooner? Wow! Thats amazing! No one ever would have thought of helping make a vaccine during a pandemic!.....But umm... Why didnt you do more like nationalize vaccine production and distribution. Nationalize PPE production and distribution? ...but I digress....Trying to change the narrative from his bungling of this costing hundreds of thousands of American lives...to...."I saved 50-100 million".....when he told us the whole time this disease is nothing...its a hoax....you dont need a vaccine or wear a mask, etc etc....is the height of hypocrisy.
America was the worst in the world under Trump for fighting this thing. Under Biden, that is no longer the case. We will still have a 4th wave, and possibly more...you know...because masks....who needs them?....only them dam libruls who hate freedom!....Meanwhile this thing continues to mutate while the mouth breathers continue to ignore science and reality.

If Biden had been in charge the vaccines would not have been approved for 3-5 years and the corporations wouldn't have had incentives to get it done.
The Dems believe Government and regulations take care of everything, except when you try to innovate and bring a product to market quickly.
Not sure how you believe Biden has done anything to expedite the injections of the vaccine. Manufacturing, logistics and distribution are 60 days in the development. Everything that went into arms up until now was Trump.....NOT Biden. And we were at over 1 million shots a day and a very nice increase rate curve that is now what is occurring in this country.
But keep believing what CNN says....LOL

Under Trumps plan it would have taken 10 years
Ok, how about some facts to back that claim....oh that's right, lefties don't do math...they are too fucking stupid to even understand their own stupidity.
While Trump was still in office, they were administering 1.5 million doses per day. And if you look at the 'growth' curve in mid January, it was clear they were easily moving fast upward toward well over 2 million a day. Remember, the vaccines were not even released until Mid December.
But lets just assume NO acceleration rate, there would have been 547 million shots in 365 days (at 1.5 million per day), or 5.4 billion shots in the 10 years you claim it would have taken Trump. Last time I looked we only have about 340 million people. Assuming two doses (I am not even counting J&J one shots), it would have taken 453 days to vaccinate EVERY SINGLE PERSON in this country at that initial vaccination rate.
Click on the link and see the growth curve in that first month and see the rate of acceleration now....it has actually slowed down. The shot rate of acceleration from Jan 4 to Jan 20 was 147% increase. The rate of acceleration from Feb 17 to March 5 was only 56% and from March 5 to present, we have leveled off. So the Trump start wasn't a 'washout' as stupid people on the left who do no research and use no facts claim.

Our problem is that the press used to keep our politicians from making blatantly incorrect statements, as they would be challenged. But today's press are the ones who are actually echoing the 'fake news'.
Was Trump a perfect president, NO
Was Trump as asshole at times YES
But what we have now is even worse and he is taking credit for almost everything.
Our economy was already on the rebound in every Red state that didn't lock down like CA, NY, NJ, etc. Heck, there were Red states that had nearly gotten back to pre-Covid unemployment rates, while the California's of the country struggled with numbers at or above double digits for much of the pandemic. We had already established a very strong and viable economy, but Biden is tearing down most of the energy sector and we will see manufacturing heading back off shore, and companies moving OUT of the U.S. as we jack the corporate income tax rate.

What's really insane is Media coverage of UFO stories today on a day when Hunter's plea deal has completely fallen apart.
Apparently the deal had a clause related to immunity from future allegations all while there's another doc showing hes STILL under Federal investigation.
