Ask for no sodium. Not always possible. As a former sous-chef you pretty much salt *every* step. Burger joints with premade stuff usually come salted then they ADD salt during cooking.
At some point your tongue doesn't care. I usually ask for less salt as sit downs. Not from concerns (thank you heredity!) but because I feel like I need to drink 20 gallons of water to compensate.
Places that'll "No Salt" on request I know are:
McDonalds
In-N-Out
I bet Tommy's will do a less salt or a no salt. The chili itself should contain more than enough sodium to still make the burger good.

choc malted cruch shake (they fucking quit making them) and two monster tacos
few hrs later...walk barefoot down to the water for some deep breathing and peeing in the ocean...walk back and crawl in bed (my nightly ritual)

Anyone remember Naugles?...
Many years ago I would go hit the clubs in Newport with a buddy of mine and after we would hit Naugles.
Insanely good hot nachos and burritos.
I would sometimes need to go into work at midnight when I was a cable tech to do preplanned splicing which would take down a fair chunk of a city for awhile.
Always feasted on a Naugles egg burrito... I think they invented the egg burrito back in the mid eighties.
