But there have been many Dr. Fates.
Only one Stephen Strange.

Dr Fate only lasted 4 years in 1940.
Then Marvel introduced Dr Strange in July 1963
Dr Fate suddenly re-appears in DC in August 1963

I liked RS and liked Brosnan in RS but didnt care for his turn as 007. I dont think he was able to catch the more serious side of it. He always has that twinkle in his eye that better suits him for comedic roles. As much as I hope this goes well...it's DC....they screw up most of their movies. To be fair most superhero movies were hit or miss....with most being miss...until Kevin Fiege and company came along.
