If last summer taught us anything the MSM along with our newly "elected" administration will be virtually silent while it all plays out.
Gotta let the new brown shirts show us who owns the streets.

I am a right wing Constitutionalist, a thin blue line supporter, and a patriot.
But fuck that cop! To put his knee on the back of a human being's neck (granted he was a POS, but still a human being) until he stopped breathing -- snuffed the life out of him -- I hope he rots in a prison cell and they ream his cornhole out so big in prison that you could park a Chevy Van in there sideways.
His job was to detain the suspect, where he would face judgement in the courts and in front of a Judge and a Jury of his peers, with the constitutional right to a speedy trial and to have legal representation. No one wants Officer Fucktard being the Judge, Jury, and Executioner on our streets.
His stupidity made him into a pawn and a poster child for the false narrative that has changed the course of our nation. Fuck him...lots of pain and suffering before his death, please!

Nuke the bastard.

I heard it also, just parts of the defense. I think they'll be lucky to get him on manslaughter and that's really a damn shame. The only need 1 for a hung jury.
I agree Chauvin is bad, but he'll probably walk and need eyes in the back of his head wherever he goes because he won't be staying in Minnesota.
|
|
That's the fucking difference between a bad cop and Correctional Officers.
If a correctional officer did that sh*t, there would be hell to pay the next day. Inmates don't play that shit. Remember C.O.s walk between inmates WITHOUT guns.
Now a F'd up cop doesn't give a damn cuz he's not personally connected to that neighborhood, or anyone in it.
|
|
He is not walking on this case. His knee was on his neck for 8 seconds or so. That is a long time when you break it down. Also when his neck was on his knee bystanders were yelling at him Floyd was not breathing and to stop. The cries of the crowd will come into evidence to show the obvious danger as to what he was doing, his reckless state of mind etc.
Most likely a lesser crime than murder. That jury is not going to acquit him.

Can anybody explain why the fuck they didn’t just lock him up in the back of a squad car? What the fuck were they doing? Why the fuck kneel on some dude’s neck for almost 10 minutes? Seriously, can anybody come up with a plausible explanation?
|
|
Floyd was hurting himself by head butting the plexiglass partition while in the back of a squad car. He had a bloody nose and there was blood in the squad car. Arresting officers are required to not allow an arrestee to hurt themselves while in custody so they pulled him out. Used to be at that point they’d hog tie him and throw him back in. Now they have to wait till he calms down. This time they waited 9.5 minutes for him to calm down causing a death in the process.
There comes a point when he is pliable and at that point, the knee comes off the back. But not till death.
Guy’s gonna have a not so fun time while in prison. And deservedly so.

^ correction : minutes, nor seconds. In my post.

Apparently the knee on the neck was part of training..
If it is a fair trial it would already be dismissed.
He will be found guilty. Appeals court in a year and it will overturn, after Kamala is officially President.
|
|
"The knee on the neck was part of the training"
Yes, as a VERY TEMPORARY measure. The TEMPORARY part was part of the training too. Minneapolis cops are trained that a person in the prone position, with any pressure on their head, neck or torso, can experience airway obstruction.
You can watch the video and clearly see that Floyd didn't resist for anywhere near 9 minutes. Once Floyd stopped resisting, Chauvin should have let him up. Talking is not resisting.
A 911 dispatcher saw it on a remote camera, and told her sergeant that the situation was wrong.
A fire department member on the scene told Chauvin what he was doing was dangerous and that Floyd's pulse needed to be checked immediately.
Bystanders told Chauvin what he was doing was wrong, and that he needed to ease off Floyd's neck.
Even Chauvin's fellow officers on the scene suggested he turn Floyd on his side.
The police chief said afterwards that Chauvin was wrong, and did NOT follow Minneapolis PD training.
Chauvin was sitting on Floyd's neck, all nonchalant, like he was enjoying himself at a family picnic. How much could Floyd have been resisting, when it did not even disturb the sunglasses perched on top of Chauvin's head, like he was having a day at the beach?
Of course, if you are just looking for an excuse to let Chauvin off the hook, because you figure the cop gave the 'perp' what he deserved, I'm sure you'll find some contorted logic to justify this homicide.
This reminds me of the Rodney King trial for the officers who beat the shit out of King while he was on the ground. Their defense was that an unarmed man on the ground was a threat to their safety if he was rolling around to avoid their baton blows. King would somehow disarm one of them and shoot the cops. Give me a fucking break! King was a real asshole but the cops had no right to do what they did.
Cops abuse their power and we blame the victim, once again! It is such racist bullshit. Was Floyd an angel? Or Rodney King? No, they certainly weren't. But the cops don't get to deliver punishment. Their job is to effect an arrest, as peaceably as possible, not to 'teach criminals a lesson' or to execute them. Period.
I always try to give cops the benefit of the doubt because they are easy targets, but they have to give us something to work with.
I don't believe for a second that Floyd died from other health issues, and it was just sheer coincidence that he happened to be under Officer Chauvin's knee on his neck at the time.
Think about it. - Anybody who has health issues can be killed in the cops custody and the cops have no accountability because of that. That scenario is just a license for murder!
The defense has already revealed their 'blame the victim' strategy and it doesn't wash. Chauvin's actions, against his own training and ignoring everyone's warnings, were at least a contributory factor to Floyd's death.
I will listen to what the defense has to say, but they need to come up with something better than blaming the corpse if they want Chauvin to walk free.

Officer Chauvin: "Hey rookie. Let me show you how we put a ni**a to sleep out here on the streets."
Rookie Cop: "I know it's my first day on the job, but isn't that dangerous?"
Officer Chauvin: "Nah. I've done it hundreds of times."
Officer Chauvin: "What do you mean he's dead?"
|
|
Wait, I thought Floyd died! How is he on trial?
|
|
If the actions of the cop are a substantial factor in causing death he is guilty of murder even if the Floyd had other contributing conditions. Even if the decedent would have died anyway shortly thereafter it is still murder. That is my understanding.
|
|
Fun fact:
James Brady's death in 2014 was ruled a homicide, caused by the gunshot wound he received 33 years earlier when Hinkley shot Reagan.
|
|
Fun fact:
On July 22, 2020, after the murder charges were brought against him, Chauvin and his wife were separately charged in Washington County, Minnesota with multiple felony counts of tax evasion related to allegedly fraudulent state income tax returns from 2014 to 2019. Prosecutors state that the couple under-reported their joint income by a total of $464,433, including more than $95,000 from Chauvin's off-duty security work. The complaint also alleges failure to pay proper sales tax on a $100,000 BMW purchased in Minnesota in 2018, failure to declare income from Chauvin's wife's business, and improperly accounted-for deductions on a rental home.
Even if he gets off the murder charge, dis white boy is fucked.
|
|
They didn’t get Capone on a murder rap.
|
|
If the state of Minnesota has a good case for income tax evasion then I would think the Federal Government should be right behind them. It seems unlikely that the tax evasion was only on the State Income tax returns.

They Fired him because the video shows a man being murdered. Once he was fired the
Police Union lost control of the process. usually its straight to desk asignment or paid leave.
This time its a little different. The most horrible is hearing the 2 cousins that were kids when they watched someone die in the street crying for his mother...

What the cops did was wrong and they need to be held accountable.
Sadly, there is an additional lesson here, especially for minority people.
When the cops go to arrest you, no matter how OBVIOUSLY bullshit it may all be, DON'T FUCKING RESIST!!!!
The cops had Floyd in the car and he kept resisting and throwing himself around in there, so they pulled him out of the car and put him face down on the ground to subdue him. Of course, Chauvin had his knee on the guy's neck way longer than he was supposed to do for that kind of restraint, so he is still wrong.
But Floyd would probably have still been alive that night IF HE JUST HADN'T RESISTED.
When they say hold still - HOLD STILL.
When they say "Show me your hands!" - SHOW THEM BOTH HANDS, HELD AWY FROM THE BODY AND **DO NOT** REACH FOR YOUR WALLET OR FUCKING CELL PHONE OR WHATEVER
It may hurt your pride and it may be very, very wrong but you can't fight the cops in the street and win that fight. They'll just shoot you dead. They are taught that if they lose a fight, the 'perp' will probably finish the job and kill them, so they WILL FUCKING SHOOT YOU.
Some assholes don't need an excuse, but most of them do - so don't give them one.
Please stay safe.

Even more obvious is the need for Union reform or removal!
This includes, not only, the Police Union but the Teacher's Union and all public unions for state/fed employees.
"The founders of the labor movement viewed unions as a vehicle to get workers more of the profits they help create. Government workers, however, don’t generate profits. They merely negotiate for more tax money. When government unions strike, they strike against taxpayers. F.D.R. considered this “unthinkable and intolerable.”
As George Meany, creator of the AFL-CIO and American labor union leader for 57 years, said.....
“It is impossible to bargain collectively with the government.”
Jerry Brown created the problem in CA back in the 1970's, Bill Clinton brought it to all 50 states and it is an abomination in all places where it happens........they should be disbanded................BUT...........
they donate ALL their money to the Democratic party, so the abomination will continue unabated.
Minneapolis Police Union put up $1 million to defend Chauvin, WTF???
Do the world a favor, abort a Progressive today

It seemed almost personal the way he used his hand in his pocket to increase the pressure on
The black mans neck. Then when the EMT guy tried to put the unconscious black man into the ambulance the cop ignored the EMT. The EMT stood there for a bit then realized the white cop was not finished kneeling on the unconscious black mans neck so the EMT awkwardly disappeared behind the ambulance.
|
|
mixed martial arts dude...shoulda knocked him off and taken the punishment
|

People watching and desiring to take physical action may have been worried they'd get shot by cops.
Considering the number of cops and what the witnesses were looking at, that fear may have not have been totally crazy.
|
|
"^^^What does that have to do with the trial?Totally irrelevant and off topic."
Totally relevant, totally on topic.
You fucking idiot.
These cops know they can get away with whatever they want cause the fucking union has their back and you're a cunt if you can't acknowledge that this is part of the problem.
Or, maybe you're just a cunt anyways.

Key witness in the car with Floyd to invoke 5th if called upon.
A key witness who was with George Floyd on the day he died has informed the court that he will invoke the Fifth Amendment if asked to testify in Derek Chauvin's murder trial.
The Hennepin County Public Defender's Office filed a notice Wednesday on behalf of Morries Lester Hall, 42, who was in the car with Floyd when police approached him for allegedly using a fake $20 bill at Cup Foods in Minneapolis.
|
|
So floyd didnt know the $20 his passenger gave him to buy cigarettes was fake.? The person in
the truck with floyd didnt say a word until now.? Is that at the heart of this mess.?
|
|
With friends like that, who needs enemies
|
|
apparently, him calling out to MAMA...was not what it seemed in the reporting(calling out to his girlfriend and not his mom)...THOUGH, it was him thinking he was going to die
|
|
Still we must face the fact that if Floyd were a high white guy who might have passed a bad 20 he would not be dead. Even if he resisted. This case does have the earmarks of a lynching. A knee rather than a rope.
|
|
if it was a white dude that got kneed...even someone in MY family
I might be sad for a bit...but in reality, would not really give a shit
mostly BE too fucking embarrassed this shit hit this close to home...that would be the typical white response. sure we wouldn't be getting any gofundme money either
lynching bullshit wtf
|
|
sometimes just a shit cop with shitty outcome
his family is getting 50m for the mistake....how many lynchings got 50m?
