Every field office lists their current wait times for both appointments and walk-ins. Last time I needed to go just waited till the walk-in time got down to 5 minutes and walked right in.

It’s the best to visit, I don’t mind making the drive from Vegas to Barstow because it’s worth it. You’ll be done in a hour or so.

The only thing Barstow is good for is to stop and pee and grab an In and Out or Habit burger on the way to Vegas

The office in Santa Paula is usually empty as well. From my house in the Chino Hills area it takes about an hour and 15 minutes to get there but it's an easy drive after you get off the 210.

I heard the real ID requirement has been pushed back 18 months.

If you are a member, AAA can handle a lot of things DMV handles (registration, etc.). For RealID, I think you need to physically visit DMV and bring all required paperwork. Just hope you don't get this guy helping you.

AAA does not do anything with drivers license. And will not do any commercial paperwork. Only private party transactions. They wouldn’t touch the dmv paperwork for the muscle car I just bought from an out of state dealer.

Gwyneth Paltrow , had no problem at the Santa Monica DMV. Dispute a long.....Long line, she slipped in through the back door, with her bodyguard.

Colossus - I brought a car in from OK and AAA had to inspect it for emissions (after I smogged it) and they did all the paperwork for me. I just got the pink.

AAA is very helpful but they do have their limitations.
Bought a new 5th wheel out of state, need to have the VIN # verified. AAA can only verify VIN number up 10,000lbs GWVR.
