Get up to the North Shore... Waimea Bay is nice and the coastal drive on the east side of the island is nice. Theres a Polynesian cultural center up north. Locals own the beaches in the southwest and are territorial.
You can drive up the highway through the center of the Island which divides mountains on east and west side. I remember visiting the Dole plantation in the middle.
The Arizona memorial is an interesting historical visit in Pearl Harbor.
Honolulu is a crowded tourist trap to some degree. The beach at Hunama Bay is a miss... coral been dead for decades.
If your in Hawaii for more than a few days try to jump a flight to Kauai or Maui for a day or two.
Kauai has a lot more remote natural beauty and waterfalls.
Maui has the infamous road to Hana on the Eastside.

Since your celebrating with Pete try Hula's Bar or Bacchus in Waikiki or Scarlet in Honolulu.

|
Good luck getting a rental car. Supposedly every rental agency is sold out though at least July. Luckily if you stay in Waikiki, you donβt really need a car rental.

Bro Iβm not celebrating anything with Pete itβs a fucking joke. You people take online personalities way too seriously π.
Not so fast talk about lack of character, monotone much πππ»
Thanks CJ for the car rental intel.

I've enjoyed watching the sunset and the surfers at Makaha over on the West side of the Island. The North Shore has been mentioned. I like to stop at Wiamea, Sunset, and Pipeline when the swell is big.
While you're up there, stop in Haleiwa at Kua' Aina for a burger and just down the street at Matsumoto for a shave ice.
Pog and vodka is my go to self serve drink there. Try the Pau vodka made in Maui if you see it. Take a knife in your checked luggage or buy one there so you can to cut up some fresh pineapple. I like to pack them in ice to get them real cold first. Maui Golds are my favorite but you'll probably only find Doles on Oahu.
Duke's in Waikiki for sunset cocktails with lots of pretty ladies and some live music..

Ego...
Bro, You're getting awfully forgetful at such a young age...
I told you that I've been to Hawaii at least 50 times...
Oahu is where most flights arrive, and it's the most populated island, thus the tourist scene on Oahu is very prevalent...
Honolulu is epicenter of Oahu, but there is so much more to Oahu alone... My favorite island is Maui, then Oahu, followed by Kauai and the big island of Hawaii... I've never been to Lanai nor Molokai...
Things that stand out from my trips to Oahu :
Number one --- as soon as you land, the Aloha Spirit is real... Your shoulders will drop at least 6 inches in pure relaxation...
Ala Moana Mall --- Great shopping, plenty of locals, the best real Kona Coffee at the Kiosks all over the mall... They have Hula Dancers there most of the day as well
You gotta grab some Loco Moco for breakfast at Ala Moana Beach Park across the street from the Mall one morning
Hit Auntie Pasto's for Dinner one evening, great local spot for Italian...
Go by Aloha Stadium and check it out They have swap meets there too, and sell some cool stuff... Ship it home if you buy something
Go to Aiea Mall and check out all of the local ladies
Next to Aiea Mall --- Go to Anna Miller's for breakfast, lunch or a late night snack
Waikele area --- My favorite Golf Course on Oahu, the only Wal-Mart that I can remember, Outlet Mall there too with decent places...
Ewa Beach --- Go down to the south end where the street dead ends, and you be at the best beaches and very few people are there... Waikiki Beaches are pretty crowded...
Ko Olina Area --- Lots of resorts out there now...
Downtown Honolulu --- Go see the King Kamehameha Statue , the courthouse, and the old Royals house across the street...
Waikiki --- just take it all in ... International Market, Royal Hawaiian and its shopping area, tons of bars and restaurants and shopping... Shorebird Cafe in the Outrigger Reef is very cool, you actually cook your own Fish or Steak... Ala Wai Canal if you want to Kayak and take in some of the local flavor...
Hawaii Kai --- Rich area , nice views, Kona Brewing Company
Kailua and Kaneohe --- Windy side of the island, great waves year round, and the beaches there are very nice and not too crowded...
Pali Lookout --- Just beautiful views of the Island...
Dole Pineapple Farm --- Believe it not, it's fun and the fresh pineapple is sick --- how good it is
Haleiwa --- Go to McDonald's there --- it's Hawaiian Food primarily Also the Waimea Falls are there and it's awesome jumping off of the waterfall there...
North Shore --- No waves in the Summer, but the Winter is huge... Lotta locals, just be cool and you won't have any problems...
Polynesian Cultural Center is cool, only went there once, but it was fun...
There's a lot of great local food spots everywhere, try as many as you can...
Enjoy yourself --- Hawaii is the best --- Learn some Hawaiian language and history before you go as well
Hang Loose Brah

Go to a lou-out on the beach.

Drink out of a coconut
Bring home a pineapple
And go to pearl harbor
Oh and jump in a volcano! Lol

Have a helicopter take you to the Big Island,
and please jump into Kilauea volcano from said helicopter.
Sometimes the sacrifice is worth it. HX Gods will be Happy...

|
Hike to the top of Diamond Head, such a magnificent view. Take a flashlight because when I did it the tunnel was very dark.
Rent a car and drive to the botanical gardens on the other side of the island, also you will drive past the pineapple fields.
|
|
Never spent any time on Oahu.
I have a condo in the Waikoloa area on the Big Island, so if you ever find yourself there I can be more helpful.
