There’s this place called Kingston’s cafe on Fair Oaks not sure if it’s still there. I’ve been a couple times and like it many years ago. It’s a Jamaican place featured on one of Gordon Ramsay’s shows.

If you don’t mind going a few minutes east to Arcadia one of the best ramen I’ve had is at Ramen Yukinoya.

Here’s a ramen place I like in downtown la.
Also a German gastropub. They’ve got some exotic mixes of sausages.

idk any cuban or Jamaican in the area,
but Sushi have had pretty decent at Osawa.
mexican I just get tacos 1982. however it is not sit down and the food is best eaten there, esp the vampiros.
bone kettle is pretty interesting and fun alternative to ramen.
union pretty decent for italian.
also like the happy hour at ruths chris and alexander steak house.
used to work in the area so would get lunch there or happy hour but not really familiar with dinner.

What little I know of Pasadena is based on going out to eat in Old Town area after football games at Rose Bowl Stadium.
Lot of Restaurants in that area along Colorado Blvd.
But the best brunch on earth is to tailgate while parked on the golf course adjacent to the stadium on New Year's day waiting for the Rose Bowl Game to start at 2pm.
Mother fucking good times...

For Mexican Food, I like Mijares at 145 Palmetto Dr, Pasadena, CA.
They've been around for a long time.
