No point telling others where you work

Not even your friends. Only a vague description is fine enough, as there's no point saying more. I legit see zero upsides of doing so.

Of course there are cases where it's necessary to give that info. But otherwise, the risks vastly outweigh any benefit. Especially if they know any already sensitive info about you. Never know when a mutual can go sour. And no one really cares what specific company you work for anyway, for the most part. People are only a tad more interested in the industry you're in.

Not saying recent story was true or anything, think there would need be more evidence. But in case a similar like situation happens.

If anyone asks, my address is:

1111 S Figueroa St, Los Angeles, CA 90015

Seriously though, regarding the other blog..... sure CA an at will employer, to minimize lawsuit, there must have been compelling information.

I mean really, if true, it has to be a LOT more than just he said she said, otherwise, EVERY disgruntled girlfriend, wife, mistress, estranged kid would be doing the same thing.

A company isn't going to fire an employee because someone anomalously called a tip line with no proof.

As Brain Dead Biden would say:

"Come on man!"

Once someone invited me to their work and we would meet there every week and have sex on the 12floor in front of the huge window

Was the most hottest thing in the world. Id come in as if I was a patient with lingerie under my clothes, get off on the 7th floor then take the stairs up. He would meet me on the empty level and we would fuck SO HARD!! It was some kind of medical billing place or something but man I wonder if he still works there...

Another guy worked at a pipe fitting company and we fucked all over the whole building. Conference rooms, boss office, you name it . Even got to drive a forklift for the first time naked lol

Man. Jobs are fun please don't ruin it for me haha

I lie about where I work to everyone, including my wife. Cause being married is like being a double agent with no safe house.

i have in the past invited special friends to my office after hours.
conference room, my office desk, chairs, you name it.
seems ballsy in retrospect but had a roaring libido back then and still do to some extent.
never had a great car experience though...but i am also a big guy.

I wouldnt do it, but banging someone at work is a thrill I can understand that is worth the risk.

On the other hand, telling someone you know where you work may seem harmless, but at same time there's no need to really give that info out. People switch jobs all the time like my friend did, I just said congrats and asked about the task changes without asking/caring where he switched to.

This is insane. I said it before on the last blog but I’ll say it again. If you can’t tell your friends where you work you need new friends. That’s an unbelievably toxic mindset, you’ve been on the board too long, take a little breaky break homie

@misstaylor, in response to your post in the other blog, the girl in question doesn't have a retirement plan or investment strategy. She's into Gucci and Louie and all the other brands so you may be right. 800k still just doesn't seem to be out of necessity.

@hercule, not sure if u will see this but her rate is 800 per hour.

Americans seem to always live in some fantasy land of idealism. This is sort of like saying you should ditch your friends if you cant tell your friends you're on HX, ridiculous idealistic nonsense.

This isn't even totally about HX, I've seen a few people being fired because they have their work listed in their LinkedIn from "controversial" remarks they've made in the past. Or even from an ex they trusted, who leak sensitive photos or info about them. Rare, but still happens. Why so many people openly where they currently work is beyond me.

Even if the person isn't into investments/retirement or graduated college, there's definitely been educated and financially stable people who have outted or tried to take down others.

I have 24-hour access, and having a lady meet me at work has been a fantasy my mind — but it’s a non-starter. Security cameras at the entrances and company rules that allow non-employees to visit only during business hours negate any chance of hanky-panky.

I’m envious of you guys.

Sometimes when at work I have this craving of seeing someone but I drive a marked company car. Often there is someone that I’ve been wanting to see that in the area I am working. How should I approach this? Should I Uber from a discrete location? I am also not stationary for work often move around in my company car from one location to another.
