You're in Koreatown, lots of great restaurants near you. Try Soot Bull Jeep Restaurant on 8th.

yikes... sorry I don't know LA area or your surroundings.. but come to Little Saigon in Garden Grove, or Westminster .. there.. I can recommend you several places.. depends on your liking (taste buds), for example some has rich beef bone flavor, some are sweet, and some have great meat selection.. etc.... so it really depends on you.. good luck.. btw if you find some great pho in LA.. let me know.. i would sure like to try it.. honestly.. whenever I'm in LA area.. I love to go for southern food.. yummmy! well good luck! hope to hear from ya some feedback!

La area has zero good pho place lol. OC pho is mediocre and bland like Chinese good. There is only 1 pho place in OC that I know is good. Believe it's called pho 45.
You need to go to SGV area if you want good pho. Saigon avenue, pho hai are a couple I know that serve rich tasty broth, not the crap most restaurants cook using powder.
Pho is a shit ton of work if you want to excellent broth. ( I used to own and run a vietnamese restaurant)

pho alley in Cypress. They are deliscious! be happy to take you ☺️
Since he in Irvine now, Pho Bac on Walnut is good. Any of the Tanh Binh ones are ok, as well.
I agree with @LeilaLuv. My go to is Phoholic on Bushard and Bolsa (OG spot), not the new one at Rodeo 39…not the same. Pho 79 is also good for traditional pho, can’t go wrong. Pho Lu comes in 3rd for me.
@LeilaLuv let’s go grab a steaming bowl at Phoholic one day
Yesss not the new one the old one!!
Broth is very tasty 😋
I was obsessed with this soup when I first came out to oc
I’ve tried sooo many places
When I do my cheat days I’ll grab a big bowl of pho
I like to go for the brisket, rare steak or oc tail ✨
I think pho 79 was the first place I stared going to 😊
Yes the broth at Phoholic is just different...in a good way. So much aroma and taste. I get the rare steak and fatty beef! Damn I'm hungry now
OMG yessss now I’m hungry lol
Lovvvve fatty beef !

In San Diego, I like Pho Ca Dao Restaurant on Mira Mesa Blvd. There are others nearby but i think this is da best. Super good and they have those super cool robots that deliver the hot soup to your table so no one gets burned by the hot steamy soup. Man, I am getting hungry with all this talk of Pho.
